I never knew who you were until today, but your story profoundly affected me. Knowing and understanding your pain is something foreign to me, but I did survive abuse as a child and also had revenge on my brain for a number of years. My heart goes out to your wife and friends and family who obviously loved you very much. I believe you were a loving individual who was never given a chance to truly reach your goals in life. I just felt compelled to reach out in some way and let your loved ones know that even now, you and your bravery are inspiring victims of sexual abuse and torture like me, to seek help in order to maintain a peaceful, happy existence. Thank you for making a difference, Ricky. I wish it could have been different, but it is powerful and I hope others can be saved from the kind of life you were exposed to. I hope you have found your own peace.
