Getting Through : ARTicles

My head hasn't healed.

Craven's bullet hole. I hope Jules doesn't edit my post. ;-)

This was drawn after I got into a ((( edited by Jules))) and was taken to my (((edited by Jules))). As I was writhing I screamed: (((edited by Jules))) and my friends held me down. I then had to (((edited by Jules))) and when it was all over I drew this picture.

BTW, Jules doesn't edit I'm told, so don't fall for it.

This one's in a class all its own. That subtle smile on your face makes this quite creepy.--That's a very cool thing. The shading is bloody lovely too. I've always had a thing or a fetish or something for pictures done with those 3 colors...makes such a good contrast.
Just a question: What the hell is with the headphones? Is that like making a statement that "I'll be listening to music till the day I die so help me God"? :P

The shading is done in simple 6b pencil (nothing beats it, not charcoal not ink) the lines are inked.

The headphones are just there because this is based on a picture of me (viewable in my profile) the bullet in the head has personal meaning, the bullet in the chest was real.

Incidentally I added the smile after the whole thing was finished and I'd always maintained that I didn't get5 it righet. It all looked better without the smile but the half cocked smile is my trademark and I had to try to put it in.

I think I messed it up big time with the smile (the cheeks looked cherubic only after this was added) but it made it more realistic).(reply to this comment
