Just one big happy family, aren't they? Look how he smiles into the camera! Look at the loving family gathings! Reading books, baking muffins, building snowmen...it's goddamn Norman Rockwell's America. Who'd ever guess the snuggle-bunny reading pal gave 12-year-old Petey a blowjob a few hours after the very picture of family values was taken? Or that Grandpa flew into a drunken rage minutes after bouncing the darlin' lad on his knee?

Quite often I post anonymously because I want people to judge what I have to say based on its own merit. (reply to this comment

Someone please put me in touch with Elixicia. As his widow, she has a legal right to prevent them from using his image and name. I would be more than happy to help her pursue that legal claim.

I can Nan, check this out now they are publicly advertising it as well. They are certainly only doing for their benefit. He couldn’t stand his mom and he certainly wasn’t a Christian but was a self proclaimed atheist who would the disgrace him by saying he’s in heaven and with the lord..ugghhhh

It will be a futile pursuit as the connection between their use of his image and monetary gain is tenuous at best.

It won't be won.(reply to this comment

Darling, compensatory damages are not the only legal remedy. There is equity as well. An order to cease and desist from appropriating ones image for example.(reply to this comment

(Agree/Disagree?)

I'm not talking about compensatory damages. It's perfectly legal for them to use his name and likeness in the context that they have done.

As reprehensible of a PR ploy as I find it to be legal action against them is baseless and would be found as such in short order if it ever went to litigation (though a host might be convinced to pull a plug under some heat).

That being said, I'd be happy to be demonstrated to be wrong, and if you have time to dedicate to taking this site down by all means do so (though I suspect the site will not be online long enought to see if a legal challenge would take it down). (reply to this comment

I can't help but feel like this is a disgrace to Ricky, who wanted for the world to live in peace and not be some public figure used for their own ends...and now they use tainted memories and pictures to try and prove their own points.

Grrr....
