Memories of Ricky :: Happy Birthday! I miss you, dear friend.

Just wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday, my dear friend. I wish we could celebrate it together like good ole times, but I’ll have to settle for a nice time with friends tonight in remembrance of you. I sure miss your friendship, encouragement and laughter.

Tonight I will not dwell on the way you left us but on the life you lived, today is a celebration of your life though short, you touched so many including myself. I learned so much from you during that short time. Especially how to be a better person and better friend. Loyal, generous, compassionate and forgiving are all the qualities I saw in you. I strive each day to improve in each of these areas in my own life.

I’ll have you know I plan to remain dedicated to getting the truth out and help as many people as I can, just as I know you would do if you were still around.
