Memories of Ricky :: Guiding light

I saw the Dateline on Ricky and I wanted to say what a brave and courageous man. I too suffered abuse, it seemed to be very common in the 60's. I was able to overcome my abuse, but it was not as severe as his. My heart goes out to his widow and all those who have stuggled to remove themselves from that situation.

I used to believe God would help me understand what was incomprehensible. I have learned that it is not for me to forgive anymore. It is for God alone. And I no longer carry that burden.

Let Ricky be your guiding light in your stuggle, and live to tell the tale. Because living to tell the tale as he tried to do and did, is the only way to put an end to the evil. And it is an evil, there's no doubt.
