Memories of Ricky :: impression on my heart

recently i was flipping channels and came across ricky's story on mnsbc i believe it was and immediately i was drawn into his heartbreaking story. it was not only his story but everyone who expressed such horrible memories of their life. my heart felt heavy for these strangers. knowing i was watching and hearing true life stories not hollywood entertainment only made my heart hurt more for ricky and the others in the family who were not protected and cared for the way children should. i have never been the victim of such abuse, and yet my heart felt for these people as if i knew the same pain. there is no justification for such situations. i hope the time comes quickly when parents become parents, children are able to enjoy the simple things in life and know the comfort of love and care from a mother or a father, better from both. ricky story will forever be in my heart and my heart goes out to others who feel the hopelessness life brings upon your mind,emotions and souls.
