I have always loved this picture. Brilliant use of negative space. Notice how, in the original, the little box is not centered. I believe this shows the box having a strong sense of itself. It was not randomly placed, it is where it wishes to be. The imagery is striking also. The little box, so quiet, so alone, and yet the X makes it warm and unique. Perhaps, though, the X marks the little box and singles it out making it a target for ridicule by other boxes. Whichever the case, I think the box feels secure, as evedenced by its strong shape, it remains steadfast in it's sterile environment. Any thoughts?
