Death
Recently on of my cousins brothers killed himself, he was 15 years old and o.d. on drugs. Mom still in Family, father (whom he never knew) oversees out of family. He was sent to live with his older sister 28 years old who worked 2 jobs and didn't have time to take care of him properly. He was just a child and took his own life because he had no mentor or adult/parent/parenting-figure in his life to help him when his mother abandoned him because he was an embarressment. Sad story.

Just wondering if anyone knows the stats on kids that have left that have committed suicide?   (reply to this post)

Oh Auty, that is just too awful, I didn't realise it was suicide (he's my cousin too).

As far as I know personally, two have committed suicide since leaving, and I know of at least one who did it while in the group.

Just a short clarification:

There are different speculations on his death. Some say it was suicide, others say that it was an accidental drug over dose. According to his diary he didn't want to live anymore w/o his family (who is currently in the family). I've from his sisters, one says he just was "partying" and not keeping track of the drugs/alcohol. Others say that he gave away all of his things days before he passed away and they feel it was intentional.
