Project 7: a challenge for peace
Vapid idealism, though opulent, is ostensibly admirable, but under close scrutiny, is desultory, somnambulant and more often than not, evanescent. Yet, how easily the masses are lead into “mania a potu” from drinking in the insipid rhetoric of those whose ideas frequently conflict with practical considerations.

Just wondering if anyone else out there is as confused as I am as to who the good/bad guys are. ie, Arafat, Gadafi. Whenever I watch the news and hear that one of them have been attacked or are wanted I don't know whether to feel sorry for them or not. Is it propaganda or truth..

decline. I don't know much about Germany nor do I have any beef with them. But while we're on the topic, is it true that they're anal and super organized, that they're completely incapable of winning a war, and that they've lost all their prestige in the field of science ever since they kicked out or killed all their brilliant Jews?

Sad but true....
Yes....all too true. Add to that the fact that we are currently plummeting into a financial slump and you have yourself a pretty sorry mess.
We're not too anal, though. We can have a hell of a time whenever and wherever we like. Our beer might be our only saving grace ... for the moment, at least. But I'm sure that this will not last either.

I entirely agree on the beer front at least. Cars I can't comment, I don't have one, Rammestein are pretty damn good for Industrial...but you've just got to love the German thrash metal band Tankard.

Zee Germans...
I don't own a German car either... but one of these days I will. They also have some good movies. Das Boot, Run Lola Run, The Princess & the Warrior, Bandits are just a few well-known titles I enjoy.
