Getting Through : Dealing
wonderful world | from KD - Tuesday, January 27, 2004 accessed 1238 times I see trees of green, red roses too I see them bloom for me and you And I think to myself what a wonderful world. While putting my daughter who is 15 months old to sleep, we were listening to Louis Armstrong & Kenny G in "What a wonderful world", I began to remember how when in TF we were always told that the only "heaven on earth" that existed was with them, therefore any attempt that we might have to try and acquire a better or "heavenlier" (whatever that meant) place to live would be futile, (I'm still wondering how it is that by parents bought into that for such a long time), we were made to believe that outside TF all we would find would be horrors, deception and disappointment. It'll be almost 8 yrs. since I left and not a day goes by that I don't feel absolute contentment and satisfaction at having done so. And even though sometimes its been difficult due to the fact that we've been given little and in most cases no qualities or even the possibility to have a choice for what we might have thought to be a better world, I can only say that now I know what it is to be able to chose for what I think is best in my life. I see that life after TF only gets better. Poor Zerby in her shameful attempts tries to discredit and bring us down for wanting something far better than what we possibly dreamed of, with her lame attempts she tries to intimidate those of us who have found some peace, satisfaction and happiness, and she still tries to deceive those who might move on to better more fruitful and productive lifes as we now are attempting to have. Poor hag she couldn't be further from the truth, as most if not all of us here can testify, personally I can gladly say what a wonderful world. What's even better is the fact that as a mother I have a say so in my daughter's upbringing, her education, character and everything that she will become in the future will be because of the FREE choices I made, I know that as a parent I'll make some mistakes, but I know that decisions are made by me with no one to manipulate or abuse my freedom of thought and expression, its sad that our parents werent able to completely experience the wonderful feeling of being entirely and completely responsible for your childs progress, growth and development into becoming a better more capable human being than what we might have planed to be. (I congratulate my parents as well as all of those who left TF, for now trying to move into a new and better concept of parenting our younger brothers and sisters by giving them the opportunity of choice). So congratulations to all of us who took the bigger step into a wonderful world filled with opportunities and progress, weve had our losses and set backs and it hasnt been easy but our future only looks superior and in every way more fulfilling to everything that Zerby or any one else may want to contradict, gainsay or deny. |

| | | | | From Dictionary Fiend Wednesday, January 28, 2004, 16:27 (Agree/Disagree?) Hey Joe, Merriam Webster's gives some meanings of the word "politics" within which this article would fit. The article to me is about who governs our lives now- Zerby via a luck-of-the-draw shepherd, or ourselves? Dixit Dictionarius: 3 a : political affairs or business; especially : competition between competing interest groups or individuals for *power and leadership* (as in a government) 5 a : the total complex of relations between people living in society The other definitions are not all totally unrelated either: 1 a : the art or science of government b : the art or science concerned with guiding or influencing governmental policy c : the art or science concerned with winning and holding control over a government 2 : political actions, practices, or policies b : political life especially as a principal activity or profession c : political activities characterized by artful and often dishonest practices 4 : the political opinions or sympathies of a person b : relations or conduct in a particular area of experience especially as seen or dealt with from a political point of view (reply to this comment) |
