My Siren

from dave - Monday, July 29, 2002

I wrote this song two years ago. I love the sea and its inhabitants.

No shiny velvet robes
in white roses
A mystery unfolds
she poses
Staring from the sea
she reads
My every fantasy
now she’s got me

I’ve never walked these shores
without a surfboard
Hear the ocean roar
I’ve never been bored
I’ve ran a million miles
it’s how I’m feeling
I long to see you smile
when I’m not dreaming

I don’t know where to go
I don’t know where to turn
You sit alone and I burn

Fishermen at sea
in the distance
I wonder if they’ve seen
this instance
No warning signs remain
but this tune
Descending in untamed
whirlpools

Weekly Poll

What should the weekly poll be changed to?

 The every so often poll.

 The semi-anual poll.

Whenever the editor gets to it poll.

The poll you never heard about because you have never looked at previous polls which really means the polls that never got posted.

 The out dated poll.

The who really gives a crap poll.
