I am on vacation from the 8th till the 18th of July and will be leaving Belgium although destination is unknown for the moment. From atbrussels Thursday, June 08, 2006, 03:29 (Agree/Disagree?) I am sorry to hear that you saw Brussels under extremely awful weather conditions. If I recall correctly, that week the weather was the worst it has been since some time. The week after it became a bit better and now we, are finally, enjoying the sun. I have to admit I still don't understand why 'Manikin Pis,' is a famous emblem or tourist attraction of Brussels. Pretty pathetic too. But, the myth is that there was a fire and 'Mankin Pis' helped to kindle it by peeing on it. There is also a 'Jannekin Pis.' Did you see it? Well, I hope you spent an enjoyable time in Brussels despite the terrible weather. (reply to this comment)

What he said (and this may just be the drunken ramblings of an old gezzer) was that this boy had pissed on a German bomb and disabled it from blowing up some important building in Brussells.
