Hey NYC people! Hope you like live music!

My 4 siblings and I play in a band called Black River Sound and we are coming to NYC this Saturday, March 15! You may remember our parents Zac & Shelley from the goldy olden days.

It's kind of a soul/pop/reggae sound but it's fun.

Our bands website is

www.myspace.com/blackriversound

and the place we are playing is in the lower east side and it's site is

http://www.crashmansion.com/

Check it out if you want and please please come say hi if you can make it down there as it's always good to reconnect or make new friends.

Hope to see you there!

Jon

I WILL BE THERE! I'm so excited, I haven't heard about the infamous Zac and Shelly in years! I always liked Shelly's voice too, she rocked! I clicked on the Crash Mansion link, what an awesome flyer for the show! Who does your advertising?

I also checked out the band's myspace site, WOW! The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, those are some talented backsliders!

Crash Mansion is a cool enough venue. Who are you, and where in NY do you live?(reply to this comment

Well, I'm jon and my siblings are all the people listed on our space page. We live up in Boston but we're making the trek down. I've never played that club before so it'll be a first for me. (reply to this comment

wow that plug is so encouraging I almost have to wonder if we're related...wait...that's not an absurd assumption given our upbringing. (reply to this comment

Zac & Shelly, wow! Hey I think I remember you from way back in Kyoto and Nara. Wish I could go, I would if I was in NY. I loved Shelly's voice so different from the high pitched squeeling and vibrato of Windy and others.
