Anybody remember Bathsheba?

I knew COG in Hawaii 1974-1976 my name is Brenda my biblical name is Bathsheba Oceanview- everyone said I looked like Bathrabbin- anyone remember me? I am particularly looking for Ken Hapel ( not sure if that is the correct spelling) His Family name was Matthew Playwrite and he left Hawaii in 1975 for final destination of Tibet- good actor and musician- nice voice, 6'+. Mahalo and Aloha

thank you everyone for your kind responses- and for not bashing me on my age- I did check out a few sites like that Newdaysnews- it was pretty cool- oops showing my age again. I really think only a handful of people would remember me but I thought I would give it a shot. Aloha-Oceanview

Good luck lady trying to find an old friend you knew when most of us where either toddlers or not even born yet!!!!!! Why don't you try the New Day News or another exCOG website hosted by seniour citizens? You might have a better chance there.

I'm not familiar with other websites but I know that my dad and step-mom frequently visit the New Day News. They post a lot of interesting articles there. I think the only rule on that site is that you can't talk about the COG. It's more of a Christian based website for ex-fam members who want to share their "testimonies" about how God is working in their everyday lives, ect... Whereas here its more of a place where we can write whatever is on our mind. It's a place we can vent our anger and frustrations. It's more of a cult bashing site than anything else.

I've checked out the "new day news" and they've got a few pictures on their site too. You might wanna take a look. I've heard of a couple more websites but I just can't remember them right now. But hey, I hope you find your friend. I know I have a handful of good friends I haven't spoken to in a while and would like to get in touch with. Take care!(reply to this comment

Hey Oceanview,

We are mostly SGAS on here but the site is open and free to all just not sure how much help we can be on this one. I was in Hawaii at that time although I was only 1 year old but I do rememebr hearing of you and I believe you know my parents Rick & Brenda aka Jared and Rebecca who were married that year on the beach. I think you were there also I could be wrong. I will ask them next time I talk to them. I doubt they will know where your friend is though.(reply to this comment
