Getting Support : Been There, Done That
Don't be so HUMBLE...You are not so GREAT | from stedneil_king - Wednesday, November 21, 2007 accessed 746 times I can write better than anybody who can write faster, and I can write faster than anybody who can write better. FIRST! I want to apologize BUT lastly I want to explain. I want my thoughts to be known...by few others who can understand. Ok..I admit! I have no profound perspective yet and I believe that it is a capital mistake to theorize before one has a concrete evidence. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories instead of theories to suit facts. And I am so guilty with it. My friend (who happens to be drunk...like me) told me last Saturday (after winning the poker night) that: "Contradictions do not exist. Whenever you think that you are facing a contradiction, check your premises. You will find that one of them is wrong." And so I came up with an idea (as philosophy majoring estuh - STUDENT)...Naks! and AHEM! "that if two things don’t fit, but you believe both of them, thinking that somewhere, hidden, there must be a third thing that connects them, that’s credulity. Because perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away. There is nothing either good or bad anyway, for thinking makes it so. The longer I live the more I see that I am never wrong about anything, and that all the pains that I have so humbly taken to verify my notions have only wasted my time. I had a close encounter with a situation which none would prefer to have..but consequently, I was able to regain my composure soon because one of the symptoms of an approaching nervous breakdown is the belief that one’s work (good or bad) is terribly important and I defy that particular concept that is why I'm still here..very lucid and alive. And so I believe that we must have a strong mind, ready to accept facts as they are. And to sit alone with your conscience will be judgment enough for me. |

| from figaro Sunday, December 09, 2007 - 23:54 (Agree/Disagree?) "I believe that it is a capital mistake to theorize before one has a concrete evidence" If one has concrete evidence then its not a theory anymore, its a fact. Right? (reply to this comment)
| from solemn Thursday, November 29, 2007 - 10:29 (Agree/Disagree?) You and your friends should refrain from drunken philosophy. Yeah... that's about it. (reply to this comment)

I do see how one could misconstrue an honest space saving excercise as something more sinister. But like I told you, any perceived likeness to making-fun-of is completely unintentional. I do find the results amusing though. Most of them were probably just happy to find an answer to choose that didn't confuse them :P Ok I'm done now.(reply to this comment) |

"I can write better than anybody who can write faster, and I can write faster than anybody who can write better."...But not both? Congratulations, you exist in an enviable state of mediocrity. Tell me, do you also subscribe to the notion: "its not the length, its not the size, its how many times you can make it rise"..? (reply to this comment)
