Getting Support : Speaking Out

Thanks Albatross

from Webel - Tuesday, January 18, 2005
accessed 1791 times

I saw the prime time showing on CNN of Albatross coming out to expose the lies of TF where some woman with goofy teeth tried in vain to excuse the perverts.

I want to say thank you Albatross for your courage in coming out live on CNN with Anderson Cooper to talk about TF. You were able to fit in a lot in a short space of time and your efforts are greatly appreciated.

I am sure that you are trying to get on with your life like the rest of us and coming out of the "comfort zone" of anonimity is never easy, especially in prime time TV. I have done my fair share of newspaper articles and a documentary that came out on BBC several years ago, it nearly cost me my job and most of my friends, but hey I'm still going strong dude!

Once again, thanks bro! you were representing all of us, the silent and distraught voices on this site...

I also wanted to write you a quick note to say that you are wonderful! It couldn't have been the easiest thing for you to do, but you did it with dignity. You kept your composure, but didn't come off heartless. I love how you manage to stick to the facts, and don't let your emotions get the better of you! I hate that woman for calling you a lair.

Well done Daniel! I owe you an apology. I think that show did more to harm the group than it did to help them.

Daniel came across as eloquent and sharp. Didn't dilly dally around with his answers and was able to answer every question with truth and fact. Not some pre written statement that started of with something like "In 1986 we...." Clair on the other gave answers that simply didn't answer the facts.

Lets Recap:

When asked to step up to Daniels challenge of "I Challenge anyone to show me this process of complaining about abuse in the family". When presented with this challenge Claire simply was unable to do so. Instead throwing the accountability on each individual home and family to complain themselves and in effect admitting that they do not have a policy.

Then came her famous "In 1986 we introduced policy....." Well, we all know the famous response to that! “Most people don’t need a stringent policy to tell them not to have sex with 4 year olds.” There really was nothing that Claire could say except something to the degree of “well you really don’t understand the inner workings of our group” wich IMO pretty much says Oh yeah, we have some pretty big perves in our group and these idiots DID need a policy.

Then what about her statement of “we have offered them an apology”? Well yeah, I guess if you count “we really didn’t do anything wrong and wont admit the abuse, but were sorry that your 10:36ers are pissed and causing the Romans to investigate” Then yes, we did get an apology.

What can I say? That program was a notch in our Vandari belt and a personal notch in Daniels belt. It was a poor representation of the family and exposed them as a group that has no real answers for their shady past, only smoke and mirror explanations. How much you wanna bet we will see a family memo about what a victory this show was for them and how great they did. LOL, LMFAO!

Thankyou, Daniel and James. Good work. Loved the line "I was alive at that time.. there wasn't a policy probably saying don't shoot yourself in the head, but people weren't shooting themselves in the head."

Note to claire; You are either ignorant of the facts relating to this situation, in which case you shouldn't be the one and only spokesperson for TF, or you are a cold-hearted liar!

What about the children who were in camps or other homes and for "security's sake sweetie" couldn't contact their parents?
Well it's quite clear who you were trying to "secure", the paedophiles from the law.

Also since you know where our site is maybe you could find the time to look under "Creeps" there is already a list of perv's for you to be working on for the time being.

Could you also post the complaint form and an adress so that
you can be sure that you are doing your *christian* duty to your generations children?

Was there something else? OH YEAH thats it AN APOLOGY !!
(That might take some time for Zerby and Kelley to write up, but hey we ain't going anywhere.)

Daniel, I could kiss you, you were great, thank you so much for having the balls to do this! Ricky would have been proud. If you need anyone in the future to stand beside you, publicly, I am not afraid. It's not fun to have to get up and bring these things to light but it has to be done, it took a lot of strength.

And James Penn, this act was the best apology anyone could offer. I know that it must be hard, having dedicted so much of your life to the family and now having to face the mistakes that were made. I am touched by your willingness to speak out, it must have been difficult. It meant a lot to me and I am sure that it did to others as well. Thank You!

Thanks Siolo. As much as I would rather not be on TV, I will do it to get this story out and to challenge The Family. I just wanted to agree with what you said about James Penn..Now THAT takes bravery and courage. I have to say, I admire that man. He alone out of that First Generation has gone so far to make amends. HE has my respect and gratitude. (reply to this comment

Thank you Daniel and James Penn. A small note to James; the very fact that such a decent a person as you could not answer our question did more to move my girlfriend watching with me than anything else said. It only helped prove that these were not unusual cases of a few gone awry; it was policy. Thank you for standing up for all of us.

Borowitch looked like a twat when Anderson asked that old hag if you needed a policy not to screw four year olds, actually they did have a policy in place screw children and poor Ricky had graphic pornographic pictures of him when he was only three years old! he wasn't even knee high to a grosshopper and they were already molesting the poor guy!

The brief excerpt of his video shows him loading his gun and pretty determined, he was talking about himself in past tense saying he wants to leave a record of who he was and what he felt, it was very chilling. I couldn't stop thinking about it last night when I went to bed - I cried my eyes out the day I found out about his death, it's ironic that he said "all he wanted was to be loved" he was loved, admired and respected by more people that he knows. If I had only known that he was in California I would have got in touch with him, but I had no idea where he was! He killed himself in Blythe which is not that far from where I live but the day he killed himself I was in LA with my husband! it made me feel good when someone wrote that he had people on his cellphone who cared and he could have called any of you! I agree. It was great how Anderson kept cutting her off in mid-sentence. It totally made her look bad by saying "each home is a small community responsible for their own actions" and that we the victims "are free to seek legal retibution". I personally, don't even know anyone's real names. And as far as none of us reporting these sexual abuses that made us "uncomfortable" (in Claire's words). They aren't "responsible." Yes, the sexual misconduct did make us uncomfortable at the very LEAST.

I like the idea of setting up a fund for assisting in legal action against the leaders of TF. Remember, it is not the small homes that should have to again take the fall for these leaders actions. They don't care. The visible homes will once again take the heat and "persecution" while the leaders continue to live large in their mansions, hoping that the persecution won't affect their freaking tithes.

This time we have to catch the people that count.(reply to this comment
