Getting Real : This Site Sucks

accessed 1046 times I’m back again. Sorry for the letter. I wrote it and sent it a long time ago. I never got a reply. I didn’t go on this site for ages because my home voted for the members not to be allowed on it. It was actually reading my letter to Maria that the home took that decision. Since the personal now has changed, I can post again. The letter was written due to this comment
Here's what we've asked WS
"Will the administrative arm of The Family International, World Services, work with us and law enforcement agencies to investigate the full extent of the abuse of children born and raised in The Family? Will World Services cooperate with law enforcement officials to identify abusers so that they can be held accountable for their actions?"
So far we haven't gotten a reply.
My suggestion would be for you to write Maria and ask her why no reply has been forthcoming. Ask her why they refuse to help the children who were born into and raised in a group they helped establish. Ask them why they now ignore the people who spent up to 30 years of their lives obediently following their instructions. Ask them why they will not acknowledge a petition from the people who, through their monthly tithes, paid for their food, clothing and shelter.
If / when you get a reply, I'd be very interested to read it. |

Good job DC! It's great to see you taking that kind of initiative. I don't know what may come of it but It's great that you are putting your good sense to work. Regardless of the paths you choose in life always make informed decisions by questioning everything. It's not doubting, it's using the brain your god gave you.

i hate to break it to you dude (dudette) but that shit ain't gonna fly. you really think zerby and dick...er pete give a crap about your letter or a letter addressed to them by any of us or a collection of us? they don't! as long as their cult's general population stays placated and loyal, they won't be bothered to address our issues until the next big court case they're afraid they'll lose forces them to make more statements about how 'some mistakes were made but never advocated and apologies were given to offended parties. we don't condone this behaviour and offenders ore ex-communicated" or something along those lines. consider that a future direct quote from your illustrious leaders because that's just about as good as it gets.

No, thank you! All of you have taken the time to answer to my foolish articles or comments, even if it could have insulted you in some way. Thank you so much for that. I did change a lot since the first time I came. And also, no matter what happens, or what anyone says, I will never picture you as some bitter, evil apostate. I picture you as my brother or sister (all of them have left the family) because that is what you are. We grew up together, lived the same way, and understand each other more then anyone. You just chose a different path and have a different religion…

Hey, I remember you. Been a while, hasn't it?
I think it's awesome that you took the time to write Peter and Maria with your questions. When you've been following them for so long, it takes guts to question leadership. Kudos to you for doing so.
If you do end up getting a response, please, post it. I'd still love to hear what they have to say.

is it realy you again but with a different attitude?PTL. I wonder why why you haven't gotten a response from your leaders yet but if I were you I wouldn't hold my breath. you see its realy simple THEY DON'T CARE . I promise you if you spend enough time trying to talk against abuse, especially past abuse (by past I mean ten years or more) you wont last long in the cult.
