accessed 870 times For all metal-lovers This would definitely be my choice for Best Album of 2005. If any of you have not heard of Nile, they play Ithyphallic Brutal Death Metal (Karl Sander's own sub-genre :D)
This is one of those bands that leave you in so much awe that you almost hate them because they're so fucking good at what they do.

That's alright if you don't like death metal. It's not really everyone's first preference when it comes to music. In my opinion they are brilliant, and one must only focus on the music being played to understand its beauty. I don't know, maybe it's an acquired taste. Also, take into account the fact that death metal is ranked along with fusion jazz as one of the most difficult kinds of music to play, meaning that it's important for all the band members to be extremely skilled with their instruments...not playing a couple of power chords to some rap beat.(reply to this comment) |
