I had a change of mind frame

from Random - Tuesday, March 14, 2006
accessed 1286 times

Before most of all the gramerly corect and, emotionaly sound start ranting away,

I would like to say that my hatred towards The Family Has Changed, I went to mexico on vacation and met the kindest people in the world working a full time ministry at a terminally ill childrens hospital, with a passion to serve I cannot hate all of them there are some out there really trying to better this world. Before any hater and mentally challenge punk tries to insult me like it is common on this website I would just like to say that I am a Happy and live with no regrets I am glad I got to experience this.

I have also had a change of mind frame! I recently went to mexico and let me tell you ladies and gentleman, I no longer hater the mexicans. They are such sweet, nice, loving people!. Bringing me margaritas since I am too lazy to get off the beach, smiling outside my window in the morning, handing me towels when I get out of shower, I love them so much.! Feliz Mexicanos!

I just wanted to thank you Random for those lovely scented candles you sent me. Me and Jesus have been giving them a good work-out. He says the red ones remind him of me.

Oh and what are those little bits of string sticking out for?

This posting is ridiculous and insulting for many reasons.

This guy first of all takes a trip, visits some people, and then now feels like he has some insight into our lives...and just by meeting TF.

Who the fuck does he think he is?? Meeting TF and seeing their "ministries" (which are a PR act aka: "CTPs" to boost their local standings) and getting a good impression makes him some kind of authority on a topic he knows nothing about?

Now suddenly he has some advice to offer people who were born and raised and abused in TF?

He's probably some current member trying to impersonate an outside viewer on this website

Yes there are good people in the cult , less then two year's ago I was one of them, and I don't think I can honestly look back and say I was evil , maybe a little brain washed, but not everything i did was bad. In fact there are some things like feeding orphans that I feel helped change lifes. I dare you to find one person that was born and raised in the cult to say that every one in TF is evil.that is not the point, most of the people that proclaim that they hate TF, hate Its' doctrine and the leaders.

This is a subject I could write all day on, if only I had the time. I can definitely say that the most of the top leadership of TF are very evil, I have a hard time puting into words the things I hate the most about TF. Is cause they wasted the first 18 years of mt life , controled everything I did, lied to me, and basicly fucked me for life. I will never get over the shit that I went through. Or is it that they lie to the people that suport thier way of life, Or is it thier fucked up doctrine that they teach my younger siblings. Or is it that thousands of young people that want nothing to do with that drama are going to grow up with it, some of them are going to die trying to leave it behind them. I know life sucks but it does it have to suck this much? I wish there was a short cut to getting away from every thing I hate, and every one I love, all my relatives are from the cult my Mother my Father , all my brother and sisters, even my Grandparents are in the cult full time. It just makes me want to cry. any way I have to go to work so I'm out of here(reply to this comment

Yeah, it can be depressing. I hope you do alright. I guess I should have said, "some of whom might be individually innocent". You're right we could go on all day, but who has the time, that's why I said what I said as briefly as I could. I hope my meaning wasn't lost as a result.(reply to this comment

All "good" people who are doing "ministries" can at least do it outside of TF.

To further ad to my below comment. As a pastor you should be familiar with verses "have we not prophesied and done many good works in thy name"? Remember the response? PS: I am not a Christian at the moment but I have about 1300 "verses" crammed in my brain.

I see from your profile you are a pastor. I think that requires you to be honest with your congragation, if you feel positively about "The Family" . I believe it would only be fair and "Christian" to let your congregation have the more controversial literature including the stuff that promotes CA, and then tell them you are a supporter of the group. If you are unwilling to do so it may be that you should consider what you would be ashamed of if you did so, and realise these issues are major. Please let me know what you think in terms of whether you have a Christian duty to be honest with your congragation about this stuff.

Kindness doesn't make someone not mindless. Most family homes rely on CTP projects nowadays to give off a good image to the world and to fund raise. Its one way that the WS can continue to get their tithe without them getting jobs and outside influence. Sure they believe that what they're doing is right and good, but they only believe that because they're told that. They believe whatever they're told by the Maria and Peter and that's why its so dangerous. They blindly followed when it came to abuses and they are still blindly following. If they had been told to lay their own kids on the altar and kill them with a knife, I believe they would have done so and would have done so with a clear conscience. The side you see now is also the side that they want you to see. You are not going to know what is actually going on in a home by visiting it. You'd have to finish your babe's training etc before you start getting a proper picture.

So you encountered a single instance of anecdotal evidence indicating that some people in The Family are doing something good somewhere and that is enough to make you forget the overwhelming evidence of an entrenched pattern of abuse and exploitation that went on for decades? You are not only impressionable, but downright ignorant. Congratulations!

Unfortunately God can't help me because he is dead, but that's neither here nor there.

I don't think you will find anyone who denies that The Family performs token good works, but these are only a thin veneer wrought in a feeble attempt to cloak their egregious crimes. But hey, since it works on boobs like you it is apparently somewhat worth the effort.

Now run along and worship your dead God while trying to string tired decades old pop idioms into poorly structured sentences.

Shoo, shoo!(reply to this comment

I am no longer part of the family, doesn't mean I don't beleive in God. You are so bitter about life, shit happens, get over it. there are billions of other kids who have had a worse childhood than you, and your probably just fabricating things up in your head, of all the 'bad things' that supposedly happened to you. Your so childish, in the way your seeking retaliation.

now bugger off, carrying on with your bitterness....(reply to this comment

Ummm, a couple of quick points that might actually help you to sound more intelligent than you are in future conversations.

1. None of my above posts mention anything happening to me.

2. I make no mention of justice or retaliation.

Your statement makes painfully obvious your inability to make intelligent and correct inferences from statements made by others. Due to this weakness in your language processing capacity you instead conjure up something that you wish the other person would have said so that you can then respond with a poorly worded answer that you were able to piece together only after much effort and suffering. Such magical thinking doesn't usually cut it in the sphere of rational human dialogue, but it seems to be a valuable skill in the nuttiness of The Family. Are you sure you aren't still in?(reply to this comment

It really didn't sound like bitterness to me, just facts stated rationally. As opposed to you slinging words like "probably" and "supposedly". Who are you to tell someone whether something happened to them? There is nothing childish about seeking retaliation. We don't seek retaliation until we grow into adults who know that these things were crimes. Is a judge childish when he sentences a criminal? Your words are hateful and ill-informed.
