Getting Real : Faith No More

I need advice from ex-members

from shkeefy - Friday, July 29, 2005

An acquaintance who is a second generation ex-Family member has recently been committed to a mental institution by his father whom is still a member. Is this a common occurance? I don't know the details but am worried as it seems very fishy to me. I have to wonder why such an extreme measure was taken as this person is in his late twenties and been out of the Family for some years now but has obviously been having severe problems coping with life (drug and alcohol abuse as well as schizophrenic symptoms). I need advice and information from anyone who can help.
