Getting On : All My Politics

December 21st, 2012 Niburu

 The end of the World?

Im sure alot of you have heard about this date. Even the History Channel showed something about it. About how this date is supposed to be the end of the world or something like that. The Mayans have predicted about this date as well as other ancient civilizations.

Ive also heard about some planet called Nibiru thats coming towards earth. I didnt really believe it. But someone showed me on google earth where you can look at the stars and stuff, and one part is blacked out. And that part is where alot of people say Niburu is coming from but that the governments dont want people to see it.

What does everyone think about this?

The cycle takes 27000 years to complete. This is the cycle that will end on the mayan date...

Right after it ends, another begins just as the end of a week, is the start of the next...

Great topic. Are you familiar with the website ExitMundi, end-of-the-world scenarios? The site's doomsday collection is extensive, and arranged by proximal extinction, as in "any day now," "near future," "distant future." The particular apocalypse you're talking about can probably be found under the Planet X scenario.

http://www.exitmundi.nl/exitmundi.htm

My personal choice for end-of-the-world is April 13, 2036. There's an asteroid called Apophis with an orbital trajectory that has anywhere between a 1:450 and 1:45,000 chance of impact on that date, depending on how you set up your predictive equation. 4/13/36 is Easter Sunday in my 85th year, so I'll be more than ready to take extinction of the species over the solitary desperation of drooling into my applesauce and waiting for someone to change my diaper.

As of today, the LHC has been switched on and I am, in fact, still alive. They haven't tested a collision yet though, they just navigated a proton beam clockwise through the tunnel. Maybe when they crash the two beams together sometime in the near future we will all be disintegrated and transformed into a different form of matter. I doubt it though. Jeebus will protect me through the power of the keys and the wonder-working wisdom of his golden seed-spray.

The end of the world is actually being set in motion tomorrow with the gradual turning on of the CERN Hadron collider. Make sure you live it up while you can!

The Mayan also sacrificed humans to their gods so they could get rain or some such nonsense and we all see how well that worked for them.

I watched something about this on the Discovery channel (maybe the same program?).

It said something or another that on the 21st of December an extremely rare alignment will occur between the earth the sun and the black hole at the center of our galaxy. What this will effect is anyones guess but one suggestion is that it may radically alter the earths polarity.

Who knows - (fingers crossed) maybe this will allow the UK to swap it's weather with that of Jamaica? One can but hope...

Of course turning on the Hadron particle collider (not much longer to wait!) may create our own black hole and suck us all in before then :)

Of course the world won't end on that day. There's no reason for it to do so, and to hold on to any ancient prophecy is just silly.

Well, being an avid researcher of all things 'outside the box' myself - (ie: if the majority of people are closed minded to something or don't believe it's possible, I'm going to look into it a lot deeper with an open mind) - I have come to the conclusion that anything is possible, - and that those in power at the top of this world system have an awful lot to hide (hence the blacked out portion on the google map of the stars).  I always leave a window of open mindedness ajar to allow the breezes of 'astounding possibility' to blow in and out, without giving it any personal emotional investment (ie: fear, fanatisicm, etc).

There has always been talk of the end of the world since ancient times.  And ancient history attests to the fact the the world has effectively 'ended' for entire world civilizations on several occassions in the past.  But if anything like that is going to happen some time in the next decade or two - (which given the world climate & weapons of mass destruction, not to speak of geological catacylisms, is always a possibility), there's nothing we can do about it on a personal level except to become masters of our own lives and have an intimate relationship with our own 'higher self' deep within us, so that we are able to cope with any 'out of the ordinary' major challenges that may arise in the future.

Well well well. My self being a fanatical devotee of all things within the out side of the inside of the box I hope I don’t qualify for your representation of “the majority of people are closed minded to something or don't believe it's possible”. The planet Nibiru could, maybe (with some luck ) be coming to a town near you.  Mayans knew a thing or two about astrology and being the truest pro-anti-the-box human that I am I have considered this conspiracy theory. BUT I keep getting stuck on this one point, maybe you can help me out. If our (American/ republican) government knew of our impending doom, wouldn’t they use it to argue that Obama doesn’t have enough experience to be president? They could argue that Mccain is a war hero who has legislated since the beginning of the space age and is therefore much better equipped to handle space challenges. We need to fight that asteroid over there so we don’t have to fight it over here. Makes perfect sense right? It worked like a charm once and who knows, it could work again. (reply to this comment

Interestingly enough, that's exactly what the republicans are arguing!  They're saying Obama doesn't have enough experience & McCain is a war hero & knows about fighting & killing & bombing, etc, so 'he's our guy'.  Another thing that might be of interest to you is that the US shadow government (yes, it truly exists) has built hundreds of miles of underground 'cities' & operation centres in out-of-the-way places in preparation for just such a 'doomsday' scenario.  - BTW, you've got your box on inside out.(reply to this comment
