Getting On : Catching up

This title is not important!

hi again

I would really like to chat with you all! Sadly, when I get online nobody is here in the chat room and I find myself lonely and sad. :(
I'm not into the whole "looking for cyber-sex" thing but after a long day or night of work it would be nice to talk to someone with similar upbringings, and where I could have an ungaurded conversation. I feel bad that the chat room here doesn't work so if anyone has a better suggestion of a good place to go, pls. tell me! Yeah, you can chew my head off for the grammer, getting dissed is better then nothing these days....

Don't feel bad mia. I can understand your loneliness. But remember there are many more chatrooms out there for people in your area. This chatroom, although it's great, is not exactly up to advanced technologies. On another aspect, you need to learn, in case you haven't already, to connect with people in your local area that are not 2nd ex-gen. You need to find people you can find some common ground with, for example single mothers, students, if your going to school, or business partners. ALthough these people can't relate to your hardships or childhood, still there are points of interest you can both relate to in your current life. I've found this very helpful to reach out and just spend time with other people! Being brought up to be very social and live with so many people at a time, I would say this is almost a must for most ex 2nd gen just to maintain their mentality.

I actully am not a single mother, But since I live in an isolated area and have an unreliable car so I find it hard to go out. I get on line mainly to unwind after a long day/night of work. Things aren't that bad I just am a bit dramatic at times. Mainly BORED, oh so bored.
But I'll start studying so mabye there's hope.... ;)(reply to this comment

Life without a car just sucks.. Don't worry as they say, this phase will soon pass, make a plan and move or meet new people. It's not as easy as it sounds, but you can have a completely different aspect on a location depending on the type of people you meet. Please feel free to email me. (reply to this comment

I know spanish! But I can't relate to anyone, since english is my native language. It's hard trying to explain why I grew up on this island not speaking spanish, I don't speak it at home as my husband is german. (reply to this comment
