This chatroom, although it's great, is not exactly up to advanced technologies. On another aspect, you need to learn, in case you haven't already, to connect with people in your local area that are not 2nd ex-gen. You need to find people you can find some common ground with, for example single mothers, students, if your going to school, or business partners. ALthough these people can't relate to your hardships or childhood, still there are points of interest you can both relate to in your current life. I've found this very helpful to reach out and just spend time with other people! Being brought up to be very social and live with so many people at a time, I would say this is almost a must for most ex 2nd gen just to maintain their mentality. (reply to this comment)

From mia1 Tuesday, July 05, 2005, 16:51 (Agree/Disagree?) I actully am not a single mother, But since I live in an isolated area and have an unreliable car so I find it hard to go out. I get on line mainly to unwind after a long day/night of work. Things aren't that bad I just am a bit dramatic at times. Mainly BORED, oh so bored. But growing up in the family I learned spanish at NINE years old, the only spanish I knew before that was "Jesus te ama, quieres dar una donacion??" Imagine fundraising at THREE fucking years old....Fuck I hate the family, I hate them I hate them I hate them..!!! Yeah, whatever, I have issues!! (reply to this comment)
