That list was a putrid piece of pretentious crap... I reccomend Ornette Coleman to anyone who still pays attention to my musical leanings

As is my habit I was about to trash your selection, but it's actually pretty good. Excellent choices. Arcade Fire and Bright Eyes are definitely on my list as well. I tend to spend a good amount of time catching up on the 16 yrs of good music that I was deprived of as a child though, so don't always keep up with the latest and hottest.

As for Kanye West, the most entertaining thing he said all year was, "George Bush don't care about black people!"

I know what you mean, most of my salary goes towards "catching up"as well.I just figured no one would get what I was on about if I was to get into A Silver Mt Zion's second album or something to that effect.

As far as Kanye West; I think it's refreshing to hear someone rapping about social issues again rather than the usual "I got bitches, bling and big rims " that pervades hip hop nowadays.Oh, and lastly, the most entertaining thing he said was "I aint saying she`s a gold digger, but she aint messing with no broke n-----r"!(reply to this comment

You don't like Linkin Park because they're "Mainstream", but you listen to Kanye West? WTF? Really? (reply to this comment
