Getting On : Pop Culture

Anyone see Law & Order last week?

Send me a copy if anybody got one.

My roommate informed me only too late that the episode of Law and Order he was watching as I was sitting in the other room seemed to be about the very same sex cult he thought I grew up in. I caught the last minute of it but wasn't able to get much out of it. The matriarchal leader of the cult actually gets put on trial and unintentionally incriminates herself in a self-righteous tirade while on the stand, but I missed the first three quarters of it, so I dont know how close to home it was. Anybody catch the whole thing?

I watched extracts from law and order on the web. As far as I could gather the programme claimed that Richard had been kidnapped 20 years ago.

Is there any truth in that?

Was Rick had been taken away from Tenerife without his fathers knowledge/ permission. We have seen early pictures of Rick with his grandparents in Tenerife ...just wondered if this story line was fabricated for the programme or if there is any truth in it?

for clarifying cassy. The program was food for thought. In some countries it is illegal to take a child out of the country without the fathers permission. Even single parents have to seek it. Not sure how it is in Tenerife or indeed if any of Rick's family there are in the picture.(reply to this comment
