from IJFromFL - Saturday, June 24, 2006 accessed 1244 times I am a reporter from South Florida and I am looking for personal stories from ex-family members for an article I am writing. I hope this is allowed...If not my apologies. I am a reporter from South Florida and I am looking for personal stories from ex-family members for an article I am writing. They must be teenagers between the ages of 13-21 OR they must have BEEN teenagers between the ages of 13-21 while they were still in The Family. If you are interested in getting your story out there please feel free to leave me an email at lanaluck22@aim.com . Just your name and a way of contacting you (email, phone number, no address please!) I'm open to recieving whatever you feel comfortable disclosing. Seeing as there is a lot of confusion with reporters hounding people from this website I want to give you some more info on who I am. My name is Ilana Jacqueline and I work for a local paper in South Florida called Today's Teen. We're written primarily by teens for teens and our purpose is to educate and entertain our readers about life, love, and the world at large. That's where you come in. I've become very interested in The Family and their history. I would be very interested in obtaining first-hand accounts of past members of The Family. I will not hassle anyone who wishes to disclose information to our publication. You can share whatever you are comforable sharing. We respect that this is a difficult thing to talk about and we don't want to cause any personal trouble for you. As our website is under construction right now we don't have on-site email, and as I don't wish to use my personal email I'm using my AIM free email. You can although, check out (whatever is working) on her website www.todaysteenonline.com . Thanks! -Ilana NOTE FROM ADMIN: To all those interested in contacting this person, please see Jules' article "Talking to the Media" (http://www.movingon.org/article.asp?sID=1&Cat=49&ID=2462). |
