I am sorry Spat for taking your great idea and blatently useing it, I sent you an email but you never replied

Sorry

Day: 5840
Location: Home XXXFF
Revolution Period: PER aka (PhukyouERse)
Mission Objectives: Survival, persecution (child abuse court cases) evasive maneuvers, L of L (Lick another Lollipop,
Primary Objective: Screw Brian
Time: 7:00 am Devotions time

Brian makes his way to the living room, much to his personal dismay the schedule has been changed so that devotions is before breakfast.

According to Uncle Eric(tion), Team Worker for Schedules, Room Changes and JJT, this is so that not only will the teens be used to change but also so they are hungry for the Word with a real passion.

Brian doesn’t know about that but what he does know is that he is hungry, he always looks forward to Auntie Faith’s scrambled eggs and boiled wheat flakes in the morning.

As he enters the Living room he is happy to see there is only 25 people already there, so it looks like someone else will be getting the Demerits, more importantly the Inspiration team is not yet set up.

Johnny B has his guitar at the ready before the rest and asks if any one has a good idea for a song to start them off, before any of the teens can answer Uncle Zebadiah suggests “I will lift up my eyes unto the Hills”, Brian thinks of how it would be nice to have a different song to start the day but soon realises that this is a rebellious doubt and push’s it from his mind.

Johnny B begins strumming the all too familiar song and people start to sing along, Brian mouths the words whilst looking out of the Window, day dreaming about Peanut Butter sandwiches and Get Out.

Uncle Zebadiah interrupts the song “It look like some people don’t have their candles lit”, Brian tries to not roll his eyes as he relives this age old Correction.

“You can’t expect us to light your candles, you have to come to devotions with them already lit, or we will waste the first 15 minutes of Devotions as people aren’t in the Spirit” says Uncle Zebadiah, Johnny B says a loud “Amen, shall we sing something more lively?”, another round of “Amen” is heard and the Inspiration team starts to play “In Right, Out Right”

“Now everyone really get out of yourselves, lets have fun” Auntie Sweetie remarks “Anyone that thinks they are too ‘Cool’ can stand next to me” she finishes.

After a few more songs the Shepherds decide everyone is in the spirit, “Who would like to read the Daily Might?” Uncle Zebadiah ask “Brian, why don’t you?”, Brian quickly calculates that this was not a question but an order so he accepts.

That was hillarious!  Brought back alot of memories.  It's funny how what was so normal and evryday for us then seems so rediculous now.  It's funny and sad and the same time.

I appreciate the attempt but as Spats official editor...I have to ask that you not repeat it....Joe is right;where is the humour? Pick your own theme and let Spat do his thing....even for me his writing style is a little hard to follow but that is exactly what it is; his personal style, not yours.

That was great! I had a good laugh.
Nevermind Joe...he thinks that nobody else is allowed to move on just because he doesn't know how.

Where's the humor? This just brings back bad memories. Remember, have a good laugh at the cult, it'll do you good!

I find everything about that time funny, in a very dark and ironic way, we all went through the same things and just buring them in your mind will do you no good.

I am sorry if it was not up to spat's quality, I am new at this(reply to this comment
