I watched the promo for the documentary and found it to be interesting. I also watched it and was like "that's Noah from The Ranch". It brought me back to my childhood as a Jett in The Family. Good luck Noah! (reply to this comment)
| from figaro Tuesday, July 24, 2007 - 11:45 (Agree/Disagree?) What was this actually about? It looked to me like a modern day "prodigal son" story where he finds what it is he is looking for in TF and his life now has meaning and blah blah blah. Am I wrong? Does he really find that TF is bogus and sees it for what it really is? (reply to this comment)

It's a personal story about Noah, his attempt to reconcile his memories and emotions with his mother as well as help his younger siblings make a life for themselves after leaving 'The Family'. There is no 'message' or 'solution' or even an 'answer', just the journey and its effects. This is as unbiased a project as one could ever expect to see. This of course, is my review and consequentially, my opinion may be slightly slanted, but I do feel that this documentary was made with integrity and a genuine desire to interpret an upbringing from as many viewpoints as possible.
