I am working to evaluate ChildrenOfGod/The Family numbers and activities in East Europe, and particularly in Romania. I am Romanian and I am trying to raise awareness of COG issues in my country.

Since first learning about the Children OF God two months ago I've been trying to find out as much as possible about their activities in my country. Only recently have I discovered the official Family Care Foundation site and learnt about their projects in Romania. Apart from the info on this site I read in a newspaper about some Family members running a charity association called "Uniter Hands Romania", led by a 53 year-old American citizen named Timothy Crossman. This NGO does not seem to be linked to FCF, but is very successful in attracting foreign founding for they work and personal lives, since they processed some $3-400.000 worth of humanitarian aid and can afford to pay at lest $1000/month for personal expense in a country with an average wage of less than $100. Furthermore, the newspaper article I spoke about gave some accounts of ffing involving teenage Family girls.
