Moving On - Children of the Children of God

when I left, I didn't make an issue, I didn't ask for money, I didn't even ask for support......so why is it now, you can't leave me alone?? You don't have to have my phone number, my email, my place of work, you don't have to know everyone in my life, my boss, my bf, my job THIS IS HARRASSMENT! I respect your beliefs, SO RESPECT MINE TOO!I respect your choices, SO RESPECT MINE TOO! I respect your privacy, SO RESPECT MINE TOO! Is this too much to ask???? If it is I suggest you go back and read your MO letters and your GNs for what good is your principles if you can't live by them?

AN OPEN LETTER TO THE FAMILY:

Yes, I am in the same city, but every time I see anyone from TF it makes me want to run the other direction! Can't you understand I made a decision, I CHOSE to leave, no demon or devil told me to, I CHOSE to on my own. Yet every time I see you, you all look at me with this look like I'm a total loser, like I'll never make it anywhere, like there's no hope for me! Actually I am doing great! I have a great job (which btw is 10 times better than the one you got me) I have a great life and for ONCE in my life I AM HAPPY!!!!!

What i wonder is, it's all written in the GNs that for some people it might be right for them to leave the family...... so, when we leave, why is it you can't let us be? Why is it you look me in the face and ask if I'm happy and when I tell you I am? WHY CAN"T YOU BELIEVE ME?Please let it be! I am not interested in you, in reading your "word' in visiting you all the time, so PLEASE LET ME BE! I have a life, I am happy! stop trying to impose your religion on me, your way of life, and your rules on me! I LEFT! I am no longer a part of your movement, I chose not to be, so stop trying to make me a part! I DON'T WANT IT!

Im reading all these comments and really fail to undersatnd the lack of sympathy and indeed understanding.

You really don't need to worry anymore- its over for you now. Be strong and stand up for your one life- do what you want. Be good and be an individual now- its your life- you make the decisions. I don't know you but I am very proud of your strength.

And to Sara and Just trying, thanks for yr comments, I can't move away now as my life is finally set up, I just wish I was left alone. I've had to change my phone num now 3 times, I've changed my work place and house address 2xs as well, I've had enough...thus the letter.

You really don't have to try so hard to prove yourself to them. They don't matter anymore. If you can accept that, nothing they do will bother you. We matter to them which is why they're constantly writing and talking about us, the "enemies", the "apostates", Vandari, etc, etc.

Another world, another plane. It's hard to face it, but they don't matter.

What's New

I've been kicking my brother Jason's ass in Halo for the last five days. That's why I haven't had time to keep up with the world of blogging. He's visiting from Mexico, where he's part of a sex cult that has brain washed his fragile little mind into believing that he is some sort of elite sex spirit warrior who has a direct connection with God. Together they fight off imaginary demons with names like Pan, or Vandari, or Oplexicon. Sounds like good fun, and it makes for good Halo tournaments. David named his character 'Vandari', and Jason goes with 'Christrage'...'Vandari' usually wins...That is until I join the game. I name my character 'Jamie' and he usually slays both 'Christrage' and 'Vandari.' Yeah, I'm that good.

Laughing at them, disrespecting their teachings, names, etc..
being generaly foolish and poking fun, has got to piss them off more than anything.
I know every time I think of peter and imagine him reading terms like "king penie" or "pooper scooper" and the like, just makes me giggle.
