from night_raver Monday, September 13, 2004 - 16:06 (Agree/Disagree?) Hmm, yes this could be the capitalist at work! Perhaps with all the "expert childcare workers", we could develop a daycare business startup kit and pitch it as a franchise opportunity on late-night television (do they have cheezy late-night infomercials in the UK too?). I can already feel the holy ghost moving, so which of you wants to contribute some startup venture capital for convertible preferred stock in this guaranteed plan? With a good set of outside contractors (low-paid FGA baby-factories) as franchisee trainers, we could easily break even in 6 mo.s and give a good 19% dividend payout by the end of the year. And since daycare hasn't been franchised yet, we'll be first franchise to market and knock out the independents (when we get big enough, we can lobby for so much regulation that it will be almost impossible for an independent to meet the requirements) and then you can convert your convertible preferred stock to common stock right before our IPO -- cash-country, PTL! but remember y'all, ya gotta give!
