Getting Out : Creeps

There are so clueless they just do not get it!

from Tester - Monday, September 24, 2007
accessed 1568 times

I came across this posting from the blog of a current family member http://silverwaters.wordpress.com/ and was blown away at how similar the very acts that she is condemning were to the very acts that Berg actually promoted! Now while I am glad she sees this kind of behavior as sick, she still choses to follow a cult who's core beliefs require that they accept that Berg was gods prophet and his words were right from God.

HER POSTING SAYS:

"This…is disgusting, really perverse. I don’t know what they’re thinking, but be warned, if you’re fainthearted, you’ll want to avoid this one. It’s especially disturbing, considering I have kids and I simply cannot believe that someone, anyone, much less a whole lot of people would promote this kind of immorality. It goes against all laws, natural and Godly."

(THIS IS THE LINK THAT SHE IS TALKING ABOUT. IT TALKS ABOUT PEDOPHILIA)
http://www.lifesite.net/ldn/2007/jul/07073008.html

NOW BACK TO HER POST:

"This…is infuriating! Again, goes against natural.

Sorry if this post is sad, I am in a good mood, so don’t stone me or worry about where I spend my time. God is good, He’ll come back soon and make things right. Until then, it’s keep the faith!"

ANYWAY, I POSTED A COMMENT TO HER ARTICLE. NOT THAT SHE WILL LET IT GET POSTED.

MY COMMENTS ON HER ARTICLE:
How hypocritical! Your own "prophet" practiced and promoted this EXACT same thing and published it all for his followers to see in the Davidito book along with vivid pictures and specifics.

He wrote about how his nanny used to suck his penis when he was a baby and how wrong it was for his mother to fire the nanny for this.

He also published pictures of Davidito in bed with Sara and explained how Sara would suck on Daviditos penis and how much he loved it. (One of the reasons David committed suicide.)

Berg also wrote about "goosing" Faithy, his own daughter.

Berg also wrote how "if god didn't want kids to have sex then he would not have made it enjoyable for them."

You core beliefs require that you accept that Berg was a prophet and that you believe his teachings as from Jesus, so by that you yourself are involved with a cult who's leader promoted these sick acts.

You can try and deny it all you want or try explain it away saying that this is no longer practiced. However the fact still remains that he preached this and even published these same doctrines that your damming in the main childcare handbook of your cult. Just think of how many kids were harmed before they cleverly "deleted" these choice portions from the dito book.

Your just as sick as the people that wrote these articles as far as I am concerned.

Has anyone heard of this German thing outside of this single source? Because I'm inclined to think it is bogus. I couldn't find a second source through Google, and the only person quoted in the article is that Christian guy, who uses the whole thing to claim that this is the result of a godless society.

Or maybe the link to the German government is weaker than they propose it to be. After all, the US government has sponsored the COG, in more ways than one, but would never openly endorse their controversial doctrines.

Any thoughts?

Remember what Mo wrote in “lukewarmers”? Jesus said “he that does the will of my Father the same is my brother and my mother”. The moment your family starts trying to convince you to turn from your faith, in God’s eyes they are no longer your Family.
I know this is pretty heavy but it really comes down to this age ol biblical principal.

Yes I agree this really shows how big the log in TF Leadership's eye really is. TF has no right to correct anyone untill they pull the log out of their own eye. TF needs to clean out the pedophiles and abusers out of their own organization before they point the finger at others

Maria and Berg have both been documented in openly stating that incest and pedophilia is ok and have promoted it in the cult.

Here are a few documents from TF that prove this: http://www.xfamily.org/index.php/Berg_on_Incest
2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. 3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? (Matthew 7:2-4)

Peter and Maria need to take the massive plank of pedophiles and sex abusers out of their own eye, before they even consider pointing the finger at others.

They are at a stale mate because if they did start with their followers/underlings they would turn on them in a second.

They're only option is to hide as they have been doing for 30 yrs.

The only way they can be bought to justice is by some on with a bit of money to hire a private investigator to tract her down. Seeing as the FBI can't manage it!

I know that this comment has little to do with the article but here it is anyway. It is very hard for me to understand how young people and adults in the Family feel like they cannot come to this site because it will shake their faith. If you have been raised in the Faith all your life and have been in the Family for thirty years or more how can your faith be shaken so easily? I have been coming to this site for over three years and there is nothing anyone here could say that would shake my faith. So what is the Family worried about? I think they are afraid that the second generation will start thinking for themselves and that to them is a scary thought. I think they are afraid that they may come here and remember what they went through or what their older siblings went through, and realize that everything is not black and white. Us being the black of course.
So to my peers that are still in the Family, I am not against you. We are not against you. We want you to make informed decisions, and you can not make those decisions with out hearing both sides. If nothing else just hear our side. Read our articles and chat with us in the chatroom.

Yes, thats a very well thought out, intelligent and logical comment. I was told by people in TF movingon.org was a community of evil blasphemers, but I've found movingon.org to be a community of people who want to seek the truth. "know the truth and the truth shall set you free."

Movingon.org is NOT a hate group, its a group of concerned people that what the truth to ring out in the streets so truth and justice might be known. Jesus said: "the truth shall set you free." There is truth in movingon.org and it will set you free!(reply to this comment

To add on to what you said; I came to this site still very full of the family's beliefs. I subscribed to the veiw that mistakes where made by a few mis-guided people and they had been blown out of all proportion by bitter ex-members. Then I read the stories written by Mene and others, and what struck me was that I'd heard the story before. Even though in my head I believed everything I was reading was lies, I coulden't help but realise that the story I was reading, was the same story, I have told, the same stories my friends have told. The words, situations, Uncle's and Aunties, the fimiluar truths made it impossible for me to deny. (reply to this comment

fragiletiger: I completely understand where your coming from. I was believing that it was all media blowing it out of proportion in regards to Mene, but I couldnt deny that poor girls testimony, and then I saw Deborah appear on Television making a humble statement about how she was molested and there was no venom or hate in her statement. Deborah seemed genuinely upset that her relationship with her father had been damaged by his unlawful and unbiblical sexual acts toward her. The Family claims its demons causing these children to speak up against The Family, but I think its demons causing Family Leadership to molest these innocent people who have been genuinely hurt. Demons are also inspiring these demonic teachings of sex, which seem to be destroying The Family and causing people to leave in record numbers.

Bergs daughter and grandaughter have both gone to the media and spoken up against the sexual abominations commited against them, then Ricky goes and makes a video about his pain. What more do these people need to experience, to make them realize they are completely wrong and bearing bad fruit. "A good tree cannot bear bad fruit." Deborah's experience, Mene's experience and Ricky's experience were all bad fruit, the word they claim to follow convicts them.

scorpian: comments like that are completely unhelpful, and thats just another comment TF is going to copy and paste and send out to all the SGA's, as a warning to stay away from movingon.org because its full of hate mongers who come in here to offend people. I respect that your an athiest and I'd appreciate it if you would respect that I'm a Christian. You really do nothing to help this community, and its comments like you have made above that give TF an excuse to call this community a community of hate mongers. Scorpian, you need to grow up and act like a man. This community is a community of peaceful truth seekers who want the truth to be known and respect each others beliefs. You do not speak for this community nor do you represent any of it's beliefs and values, when you attack people and their values with your disrespectful, immature and hateful attitude.

If any SGA's currently in The Family are currently reading these comments, I just want you to know that we respect your beliefs and if you want to remain a Christian then that is fine, nobody in this community will attack you, hate you or judge you because of your faith in God, we are here to help you see the truth of what is happening in The Family and are open to speak with you in a friendly manner. Whether you want to remain: a Christian, an athiest or whatever religion you choose to follow, this community is here to help support you and show you the facts about TF. The comments of Scorpian do not represent the majority of this community, nobody in this community will ever attack you because of your beliefs.

Scorpian: What you dont realize is that current SGA's actually visit this community, and its ridiculous comments like you have just made that give TF ammunition against this community. Current SGA's need to see respectful and intelligent posts, so they can get involved in this community without having fear of being attacked for their beliefs. If your an athiest then thats fine, I respect your beliefs if your not breaking the law and not hurting anyone. Im a christian who follows the 10 commandments, and none of my beliefs hurt anyone, and I dont force my beliefs on others. I am a human being and I have a right to choose my beliefs if Im not hurting others and they dont break any laws. I respect your beliefs scorpian, and I'd appreciate it if you would respect everyone elses belief's, because your comments dont help this community. I dont ridicule you for being an athiest, because I respect your belief system as long as your not hurting other people or breaking the law. I respect your an athiest scorpian, but I do not respect your slander and hate against myself and others here who are Christians.

Your slander and hate is not welcome. You do nothing to help anyone with those comments.

In feeling that you have the right to speak for this community and say what will or will not happen to someone when they come on our website, and in saying what WE will or will not do, you ARE, in fact, trying to force your beliefs on me in a sense. Maybe I WOULD attack someone for their beliefs or choices to remain a Christian, and in you saying I wont your trying to force your belief that I shouldn't on me. Maybe you should think about that for awhile!

(Disclaimer) I would not attack someone for choosing to remain a Christian, I'm just saying this to make a point. I WILL attack you for your beliefs if your beliefs are something fucked up like child molesting or something, but thats another story.(reply to this comment

I don't know what to say, I'm totally livid. Let's take this piece by piece, and I'll try not to swear. Your comments are in quotations and italics.

"I'd appreciate it if you would respect that I'm a Christian."

The only Christians welcome here, are the rare but respected ex-sga's that have somehow managed to keep their faith. More power to them. I am sincerely happy for them that they can have the benefits of a religion, while cutting out the elements they found undesirable. You, on the other hand, are a preacher. We left the cult to get away from people like you. We have no problem respecting you from a distance, but you are preaching to an unreceptive audience, and that is rude. Go to a church if you want respect, we are not required to respect you.

"You really do nothing to help this community"

Perhaps, but not being a member of our community, this is not your place to say.

"This community is a community of peaceful truth seekers who want the truth to be known and respect each others beliefs"

What site have you been on? This "community", while containing some of the above, also consists of very hate-filled people, who come to spew that hatred, as they have every right to in this free-speech forum. Many of us are only peaceful because we have not been afforded the opportunity for effective violence. Respecting each other's beliefs? Again, what site have you been on? I don't need to link you to any specific examples because the archives are rife with bitter flame wars.

"Scorpian [sic], you need to grow up and act like a man."

Condescending tones are never appreciated. Especially from drooling madmen. Should scorpion begin posting prophecies on you-tube? Would that satisfy your criteria for manliness? There plenty of men exactly like scorpion, in fact, considering that, he's a lot more of a man than you are.

"You do not speak for this community nor do you represent any of it's beliefs and values"

James, YOU do not speak for this community. Also, this community does not have a set of beliefs and values, participants are free to value or believe whatever they wish.

"If any SGA's currently in The Family are currently reading these comments, I just want you to know that ***WE*** respect your beliefs..."

WE? Who is we? Let me clarify this for you. 'You' are not part of 'we'. We are second generation ex-members of the Children of God Cult. You are nobody. You are a schizo who fancies himself a prophet.

"The comments of Scorpian [sic] do not represent the majority of this community, nobody in this community will ever attack you because of your beliefs."

While his comments may not represent the majority, they do represent a fraction. You represent nothing.

Finally, let me make something perfectly clear so you don't get the wrong idea. I can't stand scorpion. He drives me crazy. He's dumb, mean, vulgar, crass, and just downright obnoxious. I have never agreed with a single thing he's said, but I would sooner dance at his wedding than sit quietly while an outsider scolds ANY legitimate member of this community.

Further to the above, I find the way that you attack certain elements of the cult, while defending others, to be incredibly insulting. Why on earth do you think we'd appreciate your defending Karen Zerby? Zerby is no less innocent than Berg. She may have been an accomplice to the pedophilia, but she was the architect of the Victor Program. Many here would take great offense to your classifying that horrible monster as some kind of misled but divinely gifted victim. It's all inclusive to your whole twisted mind set.

All that to say, fuck you. Fuck God. Fuck Jesus. Fuck your dumb-ass dead religion. Fuck you! FUCK OFF! (reply to this comment

James demons had nothing to do with it. It was Bergs personal perversions and he used the Bible to back them up. I think blaming demons for his monstrosities is a cop-out a way of making him not responsible for his actions. The bottom line is Berg was a nasty ass old man and he has no one to blame for it but himself. (reply to this comment

cheeks: I agree with you 100% Berg has nobody to blame but himself, I was just illustrating that his behaviour was of a demonic nature, and I agree that he has nobody but himself to blame for becoming involved in that demonic behaviour. When Berg started having sex with all the girls, he started writing these unbiblical and unlawful teachings to justify himself. Berg didn't start writing all these teachings on sex untill his mother died, because Berg's mother was against sexual perversion like most true Christians are.(reply to this comment

I wouldn't say she was a true christian--whatever that means anyway. She interpreted the bible for her own ends(as they all do) and in fact would have taught him the basics. We know that when she told her testimony at the tabernacles about being raised from her cripple bed-money making scams-she was in fact pregnant with Berg (or his brother hJamler?) She was pregnant and gave birth to her daughter Virginia during that time. However in all fairness people do have children while being invalid. I don't know how she would have been able to care for the baby though, and I don't know why her husband would have had sex with his allegedly invalid wife.(reply to this comment

way back he could have decided different--he had choice!
he continued the cycle of abuse because he couldn't cope with the pain of his own childhood abuse and neglect. so in order to keep his image of himself clean to both his ego and to others he committed outrageous crimes on others. Yet i believe his true self the one he couldn't face for fear of the pain and the responsibility it incurs initially, knew fine well. so big was his darkness he developed a whole cult around in order to sooth him. Yet it doesn't work as its endless and can never be satisfied. he drank to drown this out even further. He lived in constant hiding and fear of all he had created/his followers who he made in his own image!

Remember he said about his baby sitter that he loved it.

So he projects this belief on all those around him and especially innocent children. who now have to suffer within the cycle of abuse.

we all have this choice. (reply to this comment

Well I guess she saw this article as she has removed that posting from her blog and instead posted some Mo Quotes about having blind faith.

That is how they keep their sheep under control. You can give them facts and figures and prove something to them, but their leaders will come back with "You just have to have faith".

Here, jump off a cliff, it will not hurt. You just have to have faith!

I think article is unremarkable for this simple reason that cognitive dissonance is going to be commonplace in cult-raised people.

I spent years trying to push out doubts and to reconcile things in my mind that cannot be reconciled or excuse things that are inexcusable. People either manage to confront these things or to ignore them.

All the piling on about her kids and their clothes, etc. would probably be described disapprovingly by Ron Burgundy as "not classy".

when we attack our former friends, siblings and peers who remain in the group, we are distancing ourselves from them even more.

it is possible that this woman never experienced any of the evils that many of us experienced. she appears to be a young 20 something which would mean that she wouldn't have even been aware when the literature was "purged" of this content.

literally, today in the group, the denial is so strong, that what we know to be truth, appears to be lies to them.

she is not as sick as the leaders of the cult. she is a good mother, who is trying to be a missionary, knows nothing else in life, and is doing her best.

we cannot expect to build bridges and reach those we love, who remain in the group, if acrimonious finger pointing continues.

i don't know how to get those who remain to open their eyes to the truth. but i know that if we continue to lash out in anger for their ignorance it will only draw them closer to the very people (the leadership/parents/adults)who inflicted the scars we are trying to heal.

I agree slightly with Boss Lady, we shouldn't try to overtly attack them and maybe analyzing everything they say is a bit much....BUT I know from my own experience even though I hadn't experienced much s**ual abuse as many of the girls did, still, I was so damn naive! I wish I had more peers, brother sisters etc, that left that would encourage me to leave, and help me see how stupid some of the things were that I believed in and was doing. This lady needs to have her "eyes opened" so to speak and loose her cultish ways. (reply to this comment

I am not to sure I agree. I mean this woman is an adult that has chosen to remain inside a cult even tho she knows they are guilty of criminal acts.

She is not a young girl that maybe missed all the pubs that wrote about the abuse, or was to young to have experienced or at the very least heard 1st hand about the abuse. She was there when it happened and was written about. She read the Dito book etc. can not claim that she did not know.
She is an active and vocal supporter of a criminal! Either she is extremely stupid, or is one of them.(reply to this comment

Here is an older post of hers about Zerby. She says "someone with a mother’s heart, a caring soul and a special link to the Lord." How can this be any further from the truth! She allows her own children to be sexually abused, she leads a clut that forces kids to spend weekends raising money for her mansions while they live like paupers and treats the tragic death of her own son as a soap box to damn the rest of us that have suffered. What a CUNT!

Her Posting:

"Yes, I know this is late…I kept thinking I need to remember on the 31st, but then didn’t when the day finally rolled around. I’ve been trying to think of something really profound to say that would somehow express what I feel about Maria. She’s been a part of my whole life and she’s someone I truly admire and look up to. I think the Lord chose just the right person for her job, someone with a mother’s heart, a caring soul and a special link to the Lord.

Simon Rugely’s song, Lady Maria is so appropriate for her and I think is one of those classics that will never die. I still like the way he sings it best, though if you have a chance to hear the live version by ROD, that one is excellent too.

LADY MARIA

Composed by Simon Rugely
You’ve got a love that I need
You’ve got a life I want to lead
You’ve got a heart
I feel so close to mine
You’re part of a world
I’ve searched so hard to find

Chorus:
Lady Maria calmly coming softly
Wooing strengthening the weak
Lady Maria calmly coming softly
Wooing strengthening the weak
Lady Maria, Lady Maria

A disposition you possess so rare these days
Understanding in every way
Jesus made you especially for these times
In the midst of darkness
You’ll bear forth the light"

My Goodness how awful, I just read one of her blogs dated Sept 10th, how they are going on a Fundraising trip in Germany to go to India! Just like the cult did about 20-- 30 years ago! Ridiculous.

She is gonna be in for a shocker if she's never been, India is the most vile, disgusting place I have ever been to. I've seen stuff there, I will never even speak of again. I lived in Indo, visited Thailand and Malay but got a whole new culture shock when I went to India.

If she's got any kind of a head on her shoulders she will get back to her home country.

That link really is horrifying. It's almost expected of a weird cult like TF, but the German government! And you're right, it's nearly identical to Berg's writings on the subject, minus all the exclamation marks. That has really made me feel ill. As for the girl who owns the blog, she's deep in denial, and decrying that is helping her re-iterate to herself how she certainly DOES NOT live in a cult like the one she is accused of being a part of. You brought up the most important point, she is still required to acknowledge Berg as God's prophet. God, who Berg says "does not make mistakes" so how do we dismiss a decade of sexual child abuse as a 'mistake' and go on from there without falling into all the holes in the plan? Blind faith helps I guess...
