Family Letter to Sam (Our Great Leader, lol)

from WickedWhisper - Thursday, May 29, 2003
accessed 2868 times

This is a letter that the Family sent to Sam Ajemian (God Bless him) Do they suck or what? The stench of their self-righteousness is unbearable. I hope Sam keeps giving them hell!

(From www.newdaynews.com)
May 14, 2003
Mr. Ajemian,

We are writing in acknowledgement of your note. We are sorry to hear of the vehemence with which you continually attack individuals and organizations attempting to assist those in need. We are sorry because we are assured by God's Word that the Lord can't bless the efforts of those who devote themselves to harming others instead of fulfilling His mandate to all His followers to "go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature," which is our calling and passion. (In December 2002, the Family collectively witnessed to 1.3 million people, won a quarter of a million souls, and distributed 1.8 million pieces of Gospel literature).

We would appreciate that you refrain from sending such hate mail to us in the future. The Family is a fellowship devoted to making a difference in the lives of others, leading them to Christ, and as such is not interested in campaigns aimed at doing any branch of God's work harm. We would much prefer to hear of the lives you are helping lead to Christ, the poor you are helping to feed and the needy you are uplifting. We are reminded of the words of James, "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction." (James 1:27). We may be mistaken, but we are unaware of a thriving Christian mission work attributed to yourself. We believe that the Lord will recompense the works of each one, and we are sure He sees and will be just in His recompense of each of our activities.

If you will peruse the Bible, you will see that opponents to those serving God were many. Indeed, Paul had a great number of problems with opponents, probably due to his utter commitment and refusal to compromise: "Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil. The Lord reward him according to his works. of whom be thou ware also, for he hath greatly withstood our words." (2 timothy 4:14 and 15)

However sincere you may believe your endeavors to be, your desire to hurt and harm others cannot be chocked up as "service for God" according to Scripture. On the other hand, Jesus did say that "they that kill you shall think they do God Service." (John 16:2) Obviously, those who were killing others were sincerely mistaken to the point of thinking they were doing God service. Of course, intentionally harming others does not fit in with the Golden Rule, nor the fruits of His Spirit listed in Galatians 5:22 and 23.

"Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? Let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above. for where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace." (James 3: 13-18).

We have a mission to lead as many people to Christ as we can during our lifetime, as such we really don't have time for striving or theological arguments that are not compatible with sowing the fruit of righteousness, God's word, in peace. Our prayer is that you will invest more energy in His work of preaching the Gospel and less in fighting those who are already doing so. Sincerely in Christ,

Suzanne, for The Family

Who is Sam Ajemian? And why don't they actually answer anything that might have been in his letter instead of just ranting about how they're such great missionaries?

I think the Family response to Sam sounds very restrained and, actually, kind-hearted. Sam himself confessed to sexual abuse and he is in no position to be the big crusader against the Family. Maybe Sam has set himself up as the sex-abuse crusader for the wrong motives and intentions. Isn't he the one who wants to kidnap so-called abuse victims from cults so he can be alone with them? Any objective minded person who studies this moronic Sam A.'s comments has to be leary of this supposedly reformed child molester. Get a clue, kids. If you think kids outside the Family had it better, you are wrong, wrong, wrong. Quit using excuses to justify your refusal to be missionaries. Believe me, I understand. Jesus calls us to obey Him! Learn from your experience and move on! Being filled with hate toward some exploiter isn't going to make life better!

If you want to make accusations like that, please show the proof of his postings. I have read most of Sam's posts and never seen any of the above mentioned confessions. Didn't you do this on NewDayNews already under the name of Dr. Johnson or some attempt of sophistication?(reply to this comment

Samuel Ajemian sent me this e-mail and asked me to post it here:

"Hippy Joe has posted that I, Sam Ajemian, have admitted to having molesting a child in the Family. This is not true and I am asking that this e-mail message be posted under his to clarify this matter. Maybe he is confusing me with some other ex-member with the same name. I have never sexualy abused any minor."

Sam Ajemian samajemian@sbcglobal.net"

Sam also asked that that "Hippie Joe" contact him. (Personally, I think he got Sam mixed up with Watchman.)(reply to this comment

"Refusal to be missionaries??!!" For one, if you REALLY left the Family in 1975, you would know by now that TF is not the only place to be a missionary, in fact far from it. So how would anyone "crusading against the Family" prove that they are just justifying an excuse to not be a missionary? There are quite a few young people I know who are not in TF any longer who are still missionaries AND believe that TF is f**ked-up! (Even on this site there is Wolf, bless his heart.) And secondly, who do you think you are to be pointing the finger about "obeying Jesus"--missionary is not listed as YOUR occupation...and if you think TF is doing such a good job at "obeying Jesus" PLEASE, by all means GO JOIN THEM!!!(reply to this comment

Hippie Joe, if you can't see past that PR cut-and-paste, double-speak, and OHR-ese, then it might explain a lot about why you joined a cult as soon as you hit adulthood, and we left one.

Just a little secretarial pointer....

Your ending should read " Suzanne for and on behalf of the Family" or you just look like an unprofessional git who never went to school - oh I forget you never did!!! Which would probably explain the reason for you having absolutely nothing whatsoever of your OWN to say and instead resorting to quote bible verses throughout your pathetic response.

It never ceases to amaze me what they come up with.  How a bunch of people can be so completely and utterly deluded just boggles my mind!  It would be laughable if it weren't actually hurting so many of their own children.  The length people will go to is truly amazing!

I've tried to talk to my mom about it and see what made them accept all this BS and what was in their heads, but she "doesn't want to dwell on it, it's not a part of my life anymore".  Yeah, but 25 years and 9 kids later, I think she and all parents in or out owe their kids an explanation at the very least.

It would be interesting to read the actual "hate letter" from Sam Ajemian to the Family that prompted this response. Does anybody know if it is posted on the internet somewhere? Or does anyone have a copy of it?

Who the fuck do you think you are, where the fuck do you think you are and what the fuck makes you think your family would send you support after you go off and join a fucking cult. You cock-sucking inbred son of a bitch, "I had to drop out"...most people have good reasons for dropping out like, "I dropped out of school because I had to support my kid" or,"I dropped out because I couldnt afford it", or "I dropped out of the race because my car broke down". What was your excuse? You dropped out and cut yourself off voluntarily and that is no ones fault but your own. How do you think that we the youth of the Family feel? We are cut off from our parents and without financial support because of their hypocrisy. The family tells our parents to send their money to WS and essentially to cut us off because we are now part of the system. Most of our parents couldnt have helped us anyway because they wasted their own lives away being part of an organization that is using every single one of their members to their own gain. "We would appreciate that you refrain from sending such hate mail to us in the future."

-Not like our GN's urging our devoted agents from praying for the removal of our children..uh, I mean the Evil Vandari!

"The Family is a fellowship devoted to making a difference in the lives of others,"

-But it has made no difference, we repeat no difference (unless you count the superior education) in the lives of our throwaway children, what they went through here is not "abuse."  Abuse is what unloving, ungodly systemites do.  In sexual abuse, for example, "When someone tricks or forces kids to have sex with them, that's what the System calls 'child abuse' or 'sexual abuse.'" (GN 430 DO paragraph 16, June 1990) We of course don't call it sexual abuse.  Sexual abuse certainly is not when the adult does it to a kid who obeys because disobedience is bad (not to mention punished) so no tricking or forcing is involved!

"...leading them to Christ, and as such is not interested in campaigns aimed at doing any branch of God's work harm."

-Most especially no harm to the branches or switches we use on our Victors!

"We would much prefer to hear of the lives you are helping lead to Christ, the poor you are helping to feed and the needy you are uplifting."

-As long as it's not our disowned defected children, who are one group we resolutely refuse to help.

"We are reminded of the words of James, "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction." (James 1:27)."

-Just not the ones we made.

"We may be mistaken, but we are unaware of a thriving Christian mission work attributed to yourself."

-Yes, I know you were beaten for being sarcastic before you escaped us, but we are allowed to do it for the Cause (actually, we are allowed to do anything for the Cause).

"We believe that the Lord will recompense the works of each one, and we are sure He sees and will be just in His recompense of each of our activities."

-Though actually, when we wake up with that fearful notion that our peculiar Lord is just a concoction of Mama Maria, and we listen for a split second to the Vandari, we are terrified that this may actually be true...

I wonder, does intentionally lying about your organization for money fit in with the Golden Rule? Also which of the "Fruits of His Spirit" does tax evasion get listed under?
