I just read the book not without my sister, i had heard about cults and relegious groups but diden't know of anything that was this extreme. My mum tried to push into catholiscim even though i did not beleive or agree with it, especially seems though she was the biggest hypocrite of all and rarely follows its beleifs. This is nothing in comparsion to what people and children in the children of god group went through, but my da abused me and my sister as children and when we were older my mum had another child who was abused by a on elderly freind my mum cleanded for. I just wanted to say congratulations to the people who have left, and i sincerely hope that you can move on and try to rebuild your lives.
