I am a child of Children of God who left the group where they were stationed in Brazil after my older sister was 5 months old. She is one year and three months older than me. I have lived with the Children of God as the story of where my parents met and my mother fled mid 1978, and took my sister with her. My father came after some consideration. I was raised by my brazilian mother and my father as we had no money through an interesting story of time and journeys to where I am now a single mother of two boys holding the hopes and vision to build a collaborative, peaceful, artistic community network with the beautiful things that drew so many to the COG and still has my father's best thoughts, and without the scarring scary things that drove my mother out and fearful of anything that looked remotely like the COG in her life and my life thereafter.
