excommunicated by family and church for seeking medical intervention instead of relying totally on prayer for healing. I was labeled as choosing the devil instead of Christ. My teenaged daughter was taken from me and I eventually, (at their urging and harrasement) left my home State. I am threatened with "great discomfort should I return. This is a very large influential church, with many contacts in the community spanning a uge geographic area.
