First generation ex-member. In family for 20 yrs. 1975-1995. Have 8 kids. Ex still in family, now remarried. Two of my older kids have chosen to remain with family in some way.[br]Now training to be a counsellor. Want to specialise in counselling ex-cult members. Practise person-centred counselling, which gives client control and autonomy. -Non-judgemental approach using alot of empathy & unconditional positive regard! -Aim is to empower client to think for themselves & make own decisions, and accept own responsibility for them!
