I don't feel sorry for her, in fact, I would have loved to watch or even help. This crap about peaceful and non-violent problem solving is useless. Wake up and smell the world around you folks. Your friendly co-inhabitants want to kill you, some are willing to do this for nearly nothing, many would do it for things as useless as god or religion, some because they are told, and many because they are simply worthless scumbags. So while you stand around hoping for peaceful resolution, I have no problems solving THIS type of issue with violence, SHE DESERVED DEATH, and he deserved to administer it in whatever fashion he chose or was capable of. Would there be child abuse if it was OK by society to go and check out the guilty when you grew up? Who knows? I suppose the better ending would be the one where he forgave her and went on to get a degree in Psychology or whatever. So he could end up old, tired, alone, left to think about a life he never had? Abuse is violence, it is forcing your self in multiple ways on another person or spouse, relative, etc. Violence must be met with an equal or greater force or it will win. Remember.........Muhatma Gandhi got fucking capped, he sucked and he was wrong. Peaceful solutions only work when you have large crowds (millions) and they can be fed long enough to stay in the same place for at least a day or two. Lastly, as far as being "downright evil" I don't think you know what that means, I might not either. But nobody on this site is evil, and down right? What is that? I get a mental picture when I hear "downright evil" it's like a really hip republican who is also a vampire. I'm sure there is a club here in Vegas that caters to just them. Who cares. Kill the bad people, or they will kill you. Take what you find good in life by force, you have to, if you don't someone else will. Love is for poets, dumb guys, strippers, people who have stupid opinions but were never actually abused, and whoever you are.
