Which do you think has been the most effective way for you/or others you know to deal with your cult past/upbringing?:
Running away! Forget everything an anything you knew about them. Resist contact, never research them on line, never talk or even think about fm's again.
Limit communication with other x-fm's try to just forget it. Focus on things in the real world.
Too busy making money & supporting myself to find time to heal emotionally or to get compensation.
I don't know anyone who has made any progress after leaving and have no answers. I'm pretty hopeless. I'll probably let my mind stay fucked up like this forever
I have rich grandparents who paid for years of therapy and now I feel much better! Prosac helps too!
I try talking to other x-fm's and/or relatives of mine who know what I've gone through, and that is all the therapy I feel I'll ever need.
I'm currently suing the stupid cult! There's no better cure than revenge to start the healing process!
I have forgiven all my oppressors. Either that or I'm just suppressing my hurt feelings and will probably have to deal with them years from now.
