What made you leave?

Parents left and I went with them 

Got one correction too many, couldn't stand not being allowed to make my own choices 

I gradually distanced myself over a period of several years until I realised there was nothing in there for me... 

The last doctrine was just too much to take 

A sibling left which inspired me to leave as well 

I realised I had to leave in order to save my relationship with my partner / kids 

I was thrown out for not being sold-out enough (or for being a burden to the home) 

Someone I held dearly was treated really badly and I didn’t want to be part of it anymore
