I just got a little irritated to see a website which normally contains good debate and interesting wisecracks degenerate into a forum of wannabe artists sucking up to each other. But I think Alf will rebuke you people much more eloquently than I can.

Why can't you just be like this when you're replying to my art? :) I think the REAL problem here is that there just aren't enough pricks like you talking to us in our section. Seriously, I too find it phenomenally boring when everyone has to find virtue in your work (even when they're criticizing you)--so do your worst! :)
Hey I think Alf can be one damn witty guy (plus he's a prick which is always a plus :] ), but hey I don't stoop to calling on him to insult people for me. Personally, I think the art section is kind of fun, but hey if you think the art here sucks hairy goat balls, or that our pictures aren't worthy for pigs to make sweet love to, just say so (and preferably also say why you think so ...which will help us when we disagree with you & point out why it actually is worthy :] ).
In fact, I claimed my 'backbend' girl looked like a mutant giraffe, in part because you had previously called it "a great piece of art." Okay okay, so I do enjoy a groupie as much as the next wannabe :), but hey you seem to enjoy when people suck up to YOUR gay-ass wannabe poetry. :P By the way, all the art is safely tucked away within its own section, just like your poetry, so I don't see this entire site degenerating into anything just yet.
I'm impressed though; I've never met such a small mind inside such a big head before. :) :P

you're kind of all over the place here, but I think the main gist is that you want me to insult your artwork more harshly which I'll do when I find the time. I'm not much of an art critic though, I kind of just know what I like and I don't like. My initial complaint was that the entire "recent comments" section was filled with "hey this is really cool" and "I like this a lot", and "maybe some day I'll get laid as a result of my talent" and thought Alf was likely to have a field day with this one.

PS: peppering your posts with emoticons doesn't add eloquence or personableness to your banter

I understood your complaint and explained the dynamics of art forums to you.

Like I said, art is usually posted in bunches. Since the category was new you've seen 3 bunches (Sunny, monger and mine).

Then it dies down.

Incidentally I think it's a valid point you have, the navegability of this site is such that it's very easy for one category to dominate the "what's new" page.

I sympathize with that and as I said it won't likely stay this way.

But insolence for insolence's sake is silly and pontless. What do you expect to acheive with feckless insults?

a) I've not ever posted any pictures of myself with either makeup or blood. A drwaing with blood yes, but makeup has me perplexed as to the origin of that statement.

b) I'm not easily baited by the childish accusations of homosexuality. It says more about the person lobbing it than it does about the victim of the insult.

c) I did not request your drivel, you felt compelled to share it of your own free will. I only commented that the incessant infighting was and is childish and I stand by that remark.

I already regret my part in this childish affair, I'm sure the hard work Jules put into this site was not with the aim of having us exchange insults. I'd not like to participate in any such wastes of bandwidth in the future unless something of substance will be argued (I don't know about you, but calling others gay is not my idea of ideal net usage).

Therefore I'll not continue a "battle of wits with an unarmed man". Feel free to get a gratuitous insult in. I'll let you have your parting shot if that's what it will take to end this untoward display of playground antics.

I apologize to anyone else on this site for my part in such nonsense. Having the art "take over" this site made me concerned about the effect it'd have on the other members' use of this forum but to step into the childish frey was not my intention and I'll make an attempt to avoid such meaningless exchanges in the future.
