jULES...
How about only showing the Archives link when there are archived articles in that section?

one bug i found
When you're logged in & you click on 'my articles and links,' then on one of your articles to update it, 'Show Image' is set to No Image and 'Notify me when someone submits a comment on this article' is turned off. Although the problem with turning the article's image off at that point (unless you once again specify that you want it shown) has been happening since when you first added the ability to upload images, turning off the 'notify me' checkbox when you're updating an article seems to have only started when (or at least around the time) you updated the database recently. Also, on an even more minor note, when you go to update a link, the top of the page says "update my ARTICLE." ...One last thing (I don't know if this one's affecting other people): My only link I've posted says on the update link page "not posted yet" even though it HAS actually been posted and usable for quite some time. Hope this helps, Jules, and that I was clear enough here.

| Jules, October 10, 2002, 23:35 I meant to do that Thanks Monger, it should be fixed now. You're the best beta tester ever. (reply to this post) |

Just an idea, I think it'd be cool to also see Last Month and Yesterday on your new Web Site Statistics page. In the morning (for your server) at the beginning of the month, the digits under Today and This Month just really don't give ya an idea of the growth rate of the site.

Just a thought
Jules, what do you think about putting links to all articles done by individual people in their respective profiles? Like the "View my image gallery" link, but rather: "View my articles."

| Jules, September 20, 2002, 07:49 Great Idea I think that's a great idea. I'll add it to the (ever growing) list. (reply to this post) |

Everything I Need to Know About Life
Jules, seeing 7*/Andrew J's stuff I thought of another item that could be on the list you wrote about "Everything I Need to Know About Life I Learned in the Family:" "When what you're saying has no meaning, use lots of exclamation marks."

| Jules, September 13, 2002, 05:20 Family Grammar It's true, the punctuation and grammatic style of family members is very distinctive. It's funny, I posted a movie review someone sent me from "Jesus" on MIB2, and something that freaked me out just a tad was all the quotation marks. I still overuse them in my own writing style, and it was extremely disturbing to see the similarities in writing style between Jesus' film review and the way I write. Since I doubt very much that I am channeling the divine in anything I write, I have to guess that Family grammar (or lack thereof) is still there sometimes. Arrgghh. (reply to this post) | | Andrew, September 13, 2002, 03:03 And when it does....... ...use lots of boring ol' periods!
