Cut and Paste Block is Removed
I have removed the code that blocked cutting and pasting from this site. If anyone would wants to republish anything from here on any other site or publication, please do ask the author first, out of common courtesy. All content posted here is copyrighted of the author and this site, please be nice.

I agree that information should be free. The thing that really annoyed me and other contributors (and the reason for the cut-and-paste block), was that one of the older exmembers was taking content directly from this site and republishing it on other websites, frequently messing the content up in the process. If you are going to quote someone, it's best to make it clear that it is a quote, quote it verbatim and give credit to the author, or else you're left with a mess like the MOP.

Some of the content here is not original, and my personal opinion is that these things are best either referenced properly, or if it comes from another site, provided as a link to the original source. If I had done this with the "Canadian Laws" I posted, it would have saved me all that trouble with Uxbridge.

Jules, you might want to stop the cut-and-paste maniacs posting here as well, perhaps make it some sort of policy.

Some individual just posted great chunks here, grabbed from the web in an attempt to cobble together an argument. As well as being lame it is incredibly annoying to have to scroll through (no, I'm not going to read) their massive, verbatim, *unreferenced* extracts.

IMO there is absolutely nothing wrong with paraphrasing, so long as it is acknowledged (preferably inline).

I do agree with you, but I am reluctant to make it a policy. So far the only policy here is that first generation Family members/ex-members are not welcome.

For now, I'd like to just suggest that people try to post original content as much as possible. Actually Sunny brought this up before and suggested that people post "original works, and insightful things".

I think it's a good idea.

I guess they figure their dumb asses would end up in jail if word got out that they were saying things like that. And they had the gall to dissmiss the fact that the Arab world was involved. I guess they should sit and give President Bush some insite on what is really going on since they seem to know better.

What proof do you have that the arab world or the Taliban had anything to do with the attack on the twin towers. Yes, I have seen a video where he is supposedly discussing it and that is about the total that we have been shown as proof, but i have also seen a clip of Osama buggering Bush. I don't believe either.

If you want to debate this, I suggest you find a site who's member spends their time hypothesizing on whether it was the Mossad, the FBI, or the Bush family who blew up the WTC. My mom is still in, so I sent her a portion of what I read there and questioned her about it. We've agreed to disagree about ALL issues involving the Family, but I just couldn't let this one slide. My brother and her son live in NYC... what if he was killed? Would it be part of God's plan as well? I still haven't heard back from her, who knows what her response will be! I just really wish she would think about what she is being told to believe, because it's totally wack!!!

My concern with photographs is people's privacy. It may not be a real good idea to post your picture on a public site for kids that grew up in a "sex cult". Something I was thinking about doing though is expanding the profiles pages to let people to create their own webpage, which you could post pictures or anything else you wanted to on it. This could be password protected if you wanted to it be, and you could then make sure that you only gave the password to people who you knew or wanted to see that page. It would take a bit of time to code, but I should have some more time in a couple of weeks. I'll let you know how it goes.
