from GottaStop Thursday, January 13, 2005 - 14:19 (Agree/Disagree?) Maybe there's some proactive way we can deal with friends we know are suicidal. I don't know about everyone else, but I find that condolences are a cheap repayment on someones life. I myself contemplated suicide, and had family and friends availible to help pull me through. Suicide is always a logical reaction,(at least to the contemplator) but never a rational one. If you've been there you'd understand this. Deep depression is a common percursor to suicide, and one does not have to utter the word to be thinking about it. A little research into the matter for those concerned, just might happen to save lives. If you are depressed, or know someone who is, you must act! Do it now, or weep later. (reply to this comment)
