ok so this is dug up from my band/songwriting days lemme know what you think.

"Within your mind"

The beautiful calm of silence the screaming is complete
Your voice rings out inside my head
This is just a dream
Yet through the eye of the looking glass what was muddled now makes sense
My future foretold in the stars tonight
This illusion of a fantasy land that once was in my head

Never once wanted to see another way
Never once wondered what is beyond my life today
But all I see now is these visions painted in my head
Moving through my blood this heart beats so fast
Am I alive or am I dead

Claiming a life of ignorance refusing to be led
Holding on to those broken dreams
Or was it just the things you said
This tainted life is moving on never ceasing to play the game
Because once this all said and done
These stars remain the same

Never once wanted to see another way
Never once wondered what is beyond my life today
But all I see now is these visions painted in my head
Moving through my blood this heart beats so fast

Breathe and find yourself
Breathe my heaven is your hell
Breathe till your day is done
Breathe im your imagination
Breathe im not so far
Breathe and wish upon my star
