Do I? | from Albatross - Monday, February 28, 2005 accessed 1392 times September 2004 Do I When pressed against these bars bend them outwards And scream against the intolerance of this fame Of my name And rushing down the corridors of this life Of this strife Move mountain and sea Building empires of dreams And like Tamerlane Stack pillars of skulls Whitewashed and dry Victims of this whirlwind? Do I When backed into these walls break them down And fling missiles of wit and fire arrows of charm And disarm And rushing through the caverns of this mind Of this time Pour out this my fire And then retire To my redoubt Mad not insane To pitch this hull Worm-eaten and damp A victim of this whirlwind?
