They have have had top billboard singles ver the past 3 years and have sold millions of copies. I dont know how some people have never heard of them. I think everyone who lives in the United States understands that sacrifices are essential in order for our safe, luxurious(In comparison with the rest of the world, Luxurious) and free way of life to continue. The whole world (Or at least governments that have the military capability to do so) will not adopt "preemptive strike policies" because they know they would be blown to shit before their missiles land. That may be a bit bully like but you dont get stung unless you try to steal the honey, and we dont attack unless provoked. We went to war with Iraq not because of oil, not just because he is in comparisons to tryants like Hitler. We went to war with them for the same reasons we went to war with Afganistan. They both were safe grounds, training grounds and recruitment hot spots for terrorists oraganizations such as Al queda, Hamas, and other Islamic extremists cells. On 9/11 2001, those organizations governments and countries aiding and financing those organizations declared war with the United States in the most cowardly of ways. For our President to not take action would have been unaccaptable. The American people needed and deserved justice from the guilty. You want to talk about economies? Do you have any idea how a repeat castasrophe in likeness to 9/11 would effect our economy? Most of corporate America is still recovering from the direct hit it took that day. Every country in the world uses our currency to evaluate their own economy. We are the financial leaders of the world. If our economy goes into recession, the world wide economy goes into recession. If you live in Japan, anywhere in europe Euros are used, Britain, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Papau-New Guinea, Phillipines(need I go on) that means you may be standing in a bread line at the homeless shelter. (I am not sure there is homeless shelters in Mexico...) Our way of life does not just shelter us but also the strong and weak economies depending on our consumers and our factories and our work force and our technological capabilities to survive. That our army hasnt subdued these murderers yet. They could still be harming people or planning to destroy our way of life just like they did on 9/11. Which means we have to put more into this effort on all fronts. We have to make an example of our enemies so that no real leader would dare put his people in that position. Throughout our short history the whole world has been policed by our armies By the blood of our young men (and recently women) have tryants and murderers like Mussolini, Hitler, and general Tojo been defeated. During world wars 1 and 2 the Allies were losing until we joined the effort. What do you the world would be like if Hitler had won in europe? What would all the Southeast Pacific and all of Asia be like if they were called subjects to the emperor of Japan? What would Kuwait have done if we hadnt intervened? Countless times in history we have helped other countries. And what do we get for it? Not thanks thats for sure! They turn on their benefactors. Where are all the WMD? All the evidence of the much touted "imminent threat"?? There is none!!! Yeah, now that American soldiers are all over the country, its now a huge draw for terrorists from all over the world! Way to go, Bush, and all you others who are stupid and blind enough to fall for his BS!!!! He used lies and scare tactics to coerce Americans (it didn't work on the rest of the world) to support his war. He failed in Afghanistan so he needed to attack Iraq in order to not look like a complete loser (as well as to provide nice fat reconstrucution contracts for companies such as his VP's)! What about his promises of support to the people of Afganistan? Do you know that as of today they have not recieved even 1/10th of the amount of money already spent in Iraq, despite Bush's many promises to the contrary? And now he wants another 87 billion dollars for Iraq!!! Hello!! We can't afford that due to his mismanagement of our economy!!! And its sort of stupid to try to defend Bush in one breath and then rant on about economics in the next!! His deplorable handling of the economy has left us a big mess! If you would learn a little about foriegn affairs, you'd see that there are many economies that could soon be on the verge of overtaking our own, China for example! China has the fastest urban growth and one of the fastest growing technology fields in the world. They have the technology, the means, the drive and about 16 times the labour force as us! If we keep letting idots like Bush stay in charge of our economy and we continue to underestimate the rest of the world, it won't be long! If we Americans continue to take it for granted that we are the best, the most powerful, the richest, etc.. pretty soon we won't be!! And, yes, I do live in America and I love it! Part of my right as an American is to speak out against what I think is wrong! And noone, esp. not a foul mouthed little prick like yourself can do a damn thing about it!!!(reply to this comment)
