Getting in Touch : There Goes the Neighbourhood

accessed 485 times anyone in Austin? I'm planning on buying a house in Austin. I was wondering if there are any ex-members in the area that might have a room to rent or a couch to crash on for a week or two while I'm looking for a place. I'm buying the house as an investment and I will be renting the house out so I'm hoping to be able to meet someone who knows the area and maybe could point me in the direction of neighborhoods that are set to appreciate.
I will be on vacation in Jan/Feb and again in May so I'm thinking sometime around then. Rent/food/drinks are not a problem, and sea stories are on me.

I know this town like the back of my hand and my aunt is a successful real estate agent here, so I'm sure I could help you out. Unfortunately I do not have any place where I could put you up for any amount of time, I would if I could. =/

Be careful with that. I have a rental property that turned into a nightmare! I can't wait to sell it. You have to have a pretty large bank roll if you want to be a landlord.
