Because right now, I'd like my poll vote to be for Kyla and she's not on your list. :-(.

For the record, I wasn't offended by the Poll at all. I think the Polls are fun and shouldn't be taken so seriously (of course maybe if I was on the Poll and I didn't get any votes I might feel differently. lol). I just wanted to add a few people to the list.

I haven't said anything as of yet because I'm completely baffled with this whole thing. Frankly I find it humiliating & embarressing. I guess I don't understand why I'm up there, except the fact that Joe seems to have an obsession with my boobs. It's almost degrading in a way to be rated in this manner, especially by one's peers, something that I have never wanted to be involved in! Unfortunately I can not take my name off the list (as Jules so conveniently did). I am still somewhat speechless & irritated to say the least. My level of respect for Joe has gone down a couple of notche's!
I just don't know what else to say except I'm a little out of sorts at the moment. If this is what Joe was trying to accomplish, he did a fine job.
I feel the embarressment of a women walking down the street & a truck driver toots his horn and speaks some type of profanity at her. It really isn't cool.
Is there any type of censorship on polls? I thought they were for information purposes, not to completely embarress all the females on the site.

Oh Auty shut up already. Everything you say is such bullshit. Quit whining, I'm sure you would have said differently if you would've won. Really liked that little bit about the hypotheical, embarassed women. Vivid Imagery there. The degraded part was a bit overdone, don't you think? Hope you've recovered from your trauma since then. Oh honestly Auty, (and Sarafina), you know I usually am the big bad feminist, but if you post provocative pictures of yourself on a public web site then you should handle the obvious result. I don't like the competitive nature of this poll but Joe thinks you're hot and obviously was not trying to insult you(and as to me deleting myself, well, there should be some perks for all the work I put into this frigging site--I think I already won a previous poll posted by Alf as to who the biggest slag on the site was).
I mean please ladies, I definitely disagree with the "you wore a short skirt so you are asking for rape" attitude, we should be free to wear and act as we wish, without harrassment. But if you wear short shorts and a tight top, pose provocatively out in public and a guy hoots his horn, then is there any question why? (reply to this comment) |

Well, my vote still goes for Kyla or the girl who's picture is posted under JPmagero (I think that is what it is). But I agree, all the women I have seen on this site are beautiful. And of course for the poll my vote is for Sarafina, being bias and all, since she is my sis. lol

In defence of Joe, (and I can't believe I just wrote that phrase) there are only 8 spaces for answers when a poll is submitted. I actually was on the list, (he said he loved my mind--um thanks Joe) but I don't personally really go for this sort of thing, so I exercised some censorship and deleted it.
My personal opinion is that a poll like this is pretty stupid, aren't we trying to move away from objectification and competitiveness? But hey it's a free country, (except when my name's on the list).

In addition, can we remove the damn thing? Despite the impression people might have of me, I don't live to stir up controversy. Besides, I hear they're posting a similar poll with my name in it, and I think I'm overdue for my come-uppance, especially while everybody's still mad.

Hey, hey! It's one thing to complain if your name wasn't on the list, but complaining if your name WAS on the list seems a little coo-coo to me. At least one person thought you were hot enough to make the list of "hotties". Seems to me the idea is to feel complimented, not singled out. I console myself in the fact that if there was a pole titled "who's the smartest girl on this website?" I'd be on it.
Plus Sarafina, whose fault is it that you posted pictures of your bulging beauties and your lucious lips? Damn, you're fine.

In think there are many beautiful women on this site . . .why is there only a few listed? Regardless, it's a stupid poll & I think it's unnecessary. What is this accomplishing? And on top of it, it could really hurt someone's feelings. All the women that have left the family, in my opinion, being a man, are beautiful. If nothing else, just for their courage. what right does any of us have to put a label on beauty? how immature is that.

Story of my life, LOL! If you wonder then go out into any public place and you'll soon be convinced, seeing all the lusting glances in your direction. I don't think that's the attention these hot chicks are looking for, may have been cool just out of the family, but you get sick of it soon enough. What? I didn't win? Just kidding. Actually I was mad the first day the poll was posted it was personal for me. This was before we knew who won. Plus it wasn't a fair poll as not all the "hot" women on this site were on it. I'm flattered to be concidered "hot" but would never think of myself qualified for such a poll compared to so many others on here. But I can say the poll wasn't fair because of another reason. Someone I know who "liked one of the girls on the poll" saw they didn't have as many votes and said they could fix that. In about 5 min the had changed that persons vote to make it about 20% higher in 5min. He said it was all about Ip's or something. I'm not sure but I saw it happen. So from then on I paid no atttention to the poll. How ever it certainly wasn't about "winning" I don't think any of us on the poll felt it was.(reply to this comment) |
