Getting in Touch : Connections
Joined at 16 and left in late seveties | from daniel kingston - Friday, April 29, 2005 accessed 1614 times I joined at 16 and was part of "the first 200" and I sarted in texas at the Soul Clinic and was in the 1st school (the first school for youth in the COG we were told) From the soul clinic we (the school) were sent to Washington state for school and then back to dallas (the school bus trip: thats a long story) then I later was sent to london from the home office in texas (where I was permitted to catalog and distribute a room full of disgarded Mo letters to the colonies. Not a lot of COG had Mo letters then and in the school we were allready memorizing parts of Mo letters way before anyone else) to the home office in England. I was still working on disrtibuting MO letters to colonies in the COG worldwide. I later left the COG in london for a shorttime and then came back. I was renamed Joseph Newlife and was sent to Scotland to distribute Mo letters then I left once and for all. I don't know if you all want to hear from someone that started as young as 16 with the COG, I am alot older now. I too left without skills and I did have trouble for a long time at first but I did go back to school starting with a GED and went from there. Please forgive me for starting and helping distribute the mo letters. Daniel |

Daniel, I'm looking for my cousin Mike Sanchez or Monaghan, he must have joined at the same time as you, the stories sound about the same. He was from S. CA. We have heard from him about every ten years, early US wonderings, London, Afganistan, Greece, South Africa. He was going by Marcus and by Paul. Last heard from he was with wife and adopted child in S. Africa. If you have any suggestions or this sounds familiar please e-mail me at egronenthal @mfire.com. We'd love to find him. | | | From conan Monday, May 09, 2005, 14:31 (Agree/Disagree?) No offense Daniel, but you sound like a raving lunatic. Come on man, pull yourself together. You realize that you used the same or similar wording on like 25 different posts in this thread?? Are you seriously batty or just an obvious head case? And dude, I'm quick to judge any former member on here (especially those who were able to choose to be members in the first place) who attempt to preach to the rest of us on here the 'love (among other things) of Jesus'. Get a life, if it's not too late for that for you, and quit posting on here.(reply to this comment) |

I'm trying to say I waisted alot of years trying to drink(and more) my past away I tried to change myself by chemicals and it did'nt work. Finally I had to renew my relationship with a forgiving God and His loving Son Jesus Christ. I did'nt have to throw out the baby with the bath water. I just had to turn to Jesus and get on my knees. The hate I had, I had to let it go and let God to be able to start over. I've have to, yes, say "forgive me" for all the crap I caused and the mistakes I make. (reply to this comment)
| | | | | | | | | from Historian Saturday, April 30, 2005 - 14:17 (Agree/Disagree?) "OPLEXICON"!--MO July 11, 1973 DO No.261 7. SEEK AND YE SHALL FIND. KNOCK AND IT SHALL BE OPENED UNTO YOU. (Maria: Why did the boy from the Publications Colony leave with that money?) He that leaveth and taketh doeth so because he is selfish and careth not for the sheep, for he is an hireling! How much money did he take? (Maria: 80 pounds.) That is nothing!--It is the hire of an harlot which he desires! Who was he? (Maria: Daniel Kingston.) He will rue the day when he robbed God, for God will rob him of his share in the Kingdom! (reply to this comment)

| | From aka daniel kingston Sunday, May 08, 2005, 18:18 (Agree/Disagree?) At the time I had a passing thought that it was in compensation of the VW bug I left at the TSC "soal clinic" back in Texas. What I mean is that I did'nt really need the money, I just went to the pub (the Cock in Kilburn) and drank it and lost the rest of it that night. I had to start from scratch. We had started drinking in the fam by this time and it turns out that I am a alcoholic (I've been sober since Oct. 1991 thank God) (reply to this comment) |
