| | | from thatata Thursday, June 12, 2008 - 13:41 (Agree/Disagree?) I don't like the patronizing and the conspiratorial tone of the article. Does he or she actuaully explain Plato's philosophy? I haven't read it to the end. (reply to this comment)
| From Samuel Thursday, June 12, 2008, 15:25 (Agree/Disagree?) Ah, now I get it, thatata. (Sorry about having to bail from the chatroom, btw) You were talking about my comments on this article. Well, I did read the links, and I find little if any redeeming value in them. Do realize though that I'm no philosopher, so I do see this argument as kind of silly. If philosophy were important to me, then I would probably better understand the arguments being made. To me it seems more like this person wants to draw attention to themselves by questioning the key figures of philosophy. Does that make sense to you? (reply to this comment) |
| | | | from Doctor of Philosophy Wednesday, June 04, 2008 - 13:16 (Agree/Disagree?) Huh. Heidegger and Popper are evil twins in service to the cabal for total world domination. Who'd have thunk it? Certainly not anyone in my PhD cohort. Just goes to show yah--the more you learn, the less you know. (reply to this comment)
| from Fish Tuesday, June 03, 2008 - 19:09 (Agree/Disagree?) Simplistic and idiotic on so many levels, from the layout to the badly reasoned and ill articulated content. Shudder. (reply to this comment)
